I've played ice hockey for almost 30 years, bought MarsBlades to do some off ice training not knowing anything about the hardness of wheels. I looking to skate on bike paths, back roads, etc., not in a roller hockey rink. The MarsBlades came with Laebda 78a hardness and I was tripping all over the place and was consistently stuck. Getting the harder wheels here was the answer, could instantly feel the difference of what I was hoping they'd be.

Used these wheels to switch out the originals on my Marsblades. The blue wheels that come standard with the Marsblades are awesome for smooth pavement like a concrete basement floor or outdoor rink, but they get worn down very quickly on any type of rugged asphalt surface because they are designed to be a little softer. These replacement asphalt wheels work so much better for outdoor skating on a variety of rougher surfaces. Now, if I’m going to spend an extended period of time skating on rough surfaces, I switch to the orange labeda asphalt wheels, and when I am going to spend an extended amount of time skating on smooth surfaces, I just switch back to the original blue wheels that came with the Marsblades. Using the tool that came with the Marsblades, it takes about 10-15 minutes to switch out all the wheels on both skates. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a set of these to put on your Marsblades or any roller blade you plan doing a lot of skating with outdoors with on rough surfaces.

Purchased 76mm wheels. Labeled 76mm wheels. Received 72mm wheels in package. How do you mess that up? I’ll try to make these work with my skates, but that’s super annoying that the advertisement and the label is different than the product I received. They literally had to place 8 wheels into the package labeled with a different size…
