Measured Drawings of Shaker Furniture and Woodenware Paperback – September 17, 1980

I like the simplicity and strength in Shaker design. This book has drawings that can be applied, not just some numbers and lines on a page.

Gave this to a friend and he is now making Shaker furniture.

Basically a pretty good effort, but still lacking in a number of areas. Still, worth the money.

An update and review of his first three books, with selected sample included. They vary from simple benches to tables, candle stands, and cabinets.john (:>)))

Great book with detailed drawings. Saving the Shaker tradition. Because of Handberg's work the work of the Shakers will be saved for all of us.

Very much like other books that I own, but a nice cover larger format and a joy to own. Liked it very much..

Not much on details

If you like to browse technical books and read them by section (in "fits & spurts"), you'll apprecaite one of the other shaker books more. But if you are a Shaker student or really serious about building authentic Shaker pieces, you'll be happy to add this book to your library.
