Man I love this fishing reel, I now owe three 13 fishing reels.And I’m catching myself using them over my shimano curdo DC.. I fish four days a week along the Texas gulf coast. Salt water of course. Getting to the back water, at times can be one heck of an adventure.Things get muddy and wet, and when you have a big redfish at the surface next your kayak your gonna get splashed, and so does your reel.And let me tell you how easy it is to clean this reel.Along with the rest of 13 fishing.A quick flip of a button and the side opens up. Remove the spool rinse out the reel let it dry. Add a few drop of reel oil.Maybe a little grease on the worm gear and close it back up your good go.And this reel can cast from Houston tx to New Orleans LA smooth and quite..it has a nice profile that fits in your head like it was meant to be.It’s light weight easy to use with a few adjustments for the beginners to bait casters..it’s well made tough but slick, well worth the money. I suggest everybody that fishing to own at least 3If i could rent mine out for test runs, I wouldBut I can’t see myself fishing with out.

The quality is second to none I’m fishing 33 years and iv never had a baitcaster so smooth it’s really is like silk on rapala website these are selling for 275 euros on Amazon.com I got it for 156 euro so Amazon the place to buy this if your fishing with cheap junkie reels and want a step up these reels at that price the brakes work great with no over runs it’s so smooth you can’t feel the lure reeling in even big lures and I fish with big lures for the pikes but I did throw light lure in the 20grams range and I was getting the same amount of distance that I wud with a 50gram lure I’m one regret is I didn’t get two iv had abu reels before and this would smash any high end Abu reel remember in Europe these sell in store for well over the 250euro mark now for 150euro ur getting a bargain you will not regret buying super super reel thanks Amazon for the great deal

First time out with new reel and drag does not work, will I not tighten no matter what i do and return window closed a month after purchase not happy. Update on reel be mindful on what type of line you use on reel, if you use braided line it will slip so make sure you tie your line correct to prevent slippage.

Right out of the box, the drag did not work or engage whatsoever. Spun the drag down as tight as I could and the line just pulls right out with very little effort. So much for 13's "bull drag" system. I didn't even realize it until I was on the water trying to use it for the first time..I'm just glad I didn't hook a fish before I noticed. I'm not sure if these are knock-offs or if 13 fishing has a quality control issue but I'm disappointed.

I have two of these, and I like them, they work great and obviously look great but, I don't like how it digs into my hand. The back sharp corner digs into the palm of my hand while I use it. Just sort of annoying I guess that a nice name brand reel made it to production and still has a sharp corner that can hurt your hand while you use it. Slightly disappointing. I own many different baitcasting reels from several brands and I believe that this is the only model that has that issue

Nice and smooth. Handles lighter toheavy lures well. Aluminum frame is nice and sturdy. Definitely worth the money but even better if you can find a deal on it.

Just received mine yesterday. Right out of the box it looks like a gorgeous reel. Love the matte black finish. It has a smaller profile too - it's not a big baitcaster. The only thing I've done so far is put line on it but based off of that and tinkering around with it it seems to be an extremely smooth reel. I can't wait to get out and put it to the test.

This is a strong contender for the best baitcaster I own. The only competition being my shimano curado k.Casting is phenomenal, reel is super smooth.Very comfortable, solid brake, tension, and drag controls.I’ve fished the heck out of it and never had a single issue. Would strongly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Apenas mes y medio usándolo y ya falló el drag, y Amazon ya no me permite devolverlo. Iba a comprar otro carrete 13 Fishing pero mejor me voy a decidir por otra marca.

Bon moulinet sans aucun doute, mais très déçu d’avoir reçu un produit vraisemblablement déjà vendu et utilisé 🙄. La boîte grossièrement réparée avec du scotch.. aucun document ni notice, le produit qui se ballade à l’intérieur.. même pas un flyer du fabricant ce qui est impossible de la part de ce fabricant! bref très déçu d’Amazon sur ce coup

Le moulin n’était pas neuf à la sortie de la boîte, de la graisse partout et le liège abîmé.Très déçu
