This coloring book takes adult coloring for meditation to a whole new level. I got the hint that it would be a different experience from the title: “Life Lessons”. Opening the book and seeing that it had instructions further confirmed that this would be a unique experience. I was not disappointed!Each page of the book has a focus word and a quote. The word, quote, and image work together to give me a general idea to focus on while I meditate/color. It’s a brilliant concept, and definitely reinforces the idea of coloring as meditation. I really appreciated the instruction to flip through the pages and find one that appeals to me. I hate doing things in order, and having explicit instruction to jump around is liberating. The concepts vary from page to page, and some called to me more than others. When I am in different moods, different pages are more appealing. It’s interesting to think about when I want to focus on which concepts.Anyway, once I settle on a page, the coloring process itself is a joy. The pages are single sided, so I don’t have to worry about color from one page bleeding through and affecting the experience on another page. Because the binding is at the top of the page, I have no worry about smearing the colors as I go. It’s rare to find a coloring book that works as well for lefties as it does for right-handed people. The difficulty of the images varies, but none are overly complex, or too simple. It’s a great book to get started with adult coloring. I love coloring in coloring books and now that there are coloring books for adults I can use various medium like markers, gel pens,twistable crayons, paints, and more. I'm really into coloring as a way of relaxing and unwinding and destressing. I absolutely lovethese books. The pages are thick and one sided so that is a definite plus. Also, this book is bound at the top of the pages which I love.One thing that I love is that even when you only use a couple colors and different shades, you stillget a beautiful turnout. I have found a new hobby and will definitely be using more of these. I am telling you, try these out and youwon't be disappointed! I have purchased quite a few coloring books to see how well they help with stress and I must say this one is my favorite! Very fun designs and patterns! This specific coloring book has helped with my stress, whenever I start feeling overwhelmed I pick up the book and sit in a quiet place and color away my problems!! I haven't had time to finish a coloring in this book yet, but in the meantime I will say that I love every single design in this book. They are all so unique and beautiful. I love all of the little quotes and definitions on the pages. This coloring book is my most favorite one by far. So detailed and beautiful and inspiring. Its hard to decide which page you want to color first, they are all my favorites, haha. I love this book so much. Ill try to post a picture that Ive colored when I can. I love how the pictures are one sided so you don't have to worry about your pens or markers leaking through, I just put a think piece of cardboard to protect the following page.I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I was already looking at several adult coloring books when I got the opportunity to review this one for my honest and unbiased opinion. I'm not an artist by any means but like to color just to relax. This book is great for that. There are some detailed pictures and there are some with lots of spacing between the lines. It seems to cover you whichever type of pictures you prefer. Overall I would suggest this book to beginners because I think they would enjoy it most.
