Product is exactly what you would expect it to be. Fit perfectly, looks to be good quality, and operates as it should. No complaints with it and it seems to be exactly like the original. Longevity remains to be seen, but the cable it replaced was almost 20 years old. It still worked but the insulation was crumbling.

Third replacement in three years for this mike
Third time I’ve had to replace this mike cable, hope this one lasts

Perfect fit and simple installation
No problems. Received box, and 5 minutes later I was talking on the microphone. Excellent value!

Cord pin out was reversed (180 degree roll) from normal
I received the cord very quickly and thought that this was a easy fix to my old cord on the mic which was frayed and insulation falling off of but still worked. The new cord was easy to install but when i plugged my mic back into the radio it would not work at all. Close inspection and comparison to my old cord revealed that the pin out was exactly rolled on the RG-6 connectors from the original old cord. Since I have access to an RG-6 crimping tool I was able to cut off the factory connector and replace it myself but I was a little disappointed that it came this way. I would not expect that a regular person would have a phone plug crimper tool at the house. Bad quality control!
