Lightweight, deep bass and great battery life. Awesome fitness earphones.
SoundTo start off, the sound on these is surprising for the price. They have deep bass (which is my main concern, I’m no audiophile so I look for earphones with deep thumping bass). They produce a clear sound and I am able to hear the separate sounds. i’ve use these earphones for RnB music and to listen to Podcasts and Audiobooks and they’ve managed all of them very well.Battery LifeAfter a few days of use I’m finding I’m getting the 6 hours advertised battery life from the earphones themselves. Although I rarely wear them for that long at any single time so they’re always in and our of the case being charged. I have yet to drain the case and headphones yet which is good as I won’t have to worry about running out of battery life on a normal day.One bonus that I found out after I’d bought them is that case charges wirelessly, so all I have to do it pop them down on my wireless charger and they’re being topped up. (I’ve only had to charge them once when I got them so far, I’m yet to drain the case to the point where it needs another charge)Comfort & DesignThey have an in-ear design which is very comfortable to everyday use and even wearing at the gym. They don’t feel like they’re blocking my ears like some other in-ear headphones do. I’ve used these whilst doing cardio on the treadmill, cross trainer and whilst doing some strength training, they stay firmly planted in my ears and sweat doesn’t seem to be problem either. They are very light and after a while I am barely able to feel I’m wearing them.In the box they come with a multitude of earbuds to help you find a comfortable fit. I found using the medium earbuds with the red inside are the most comfortable and create a good seal to block out most outside noise. They don’t have active noise cancellation, however they do an in-ear design which blocks out most of the outside noise when playing music.Ease of UseThe pairing on the earphones is simple enough, once the initial pairing is done, all you have to do it open the case and the earphones connect automatically. The touch controls are really useful once you get the hang of them. There are a fair few different control to remember, I’ve found that I tend to use the tap to pause and play often, anything is usually done on my Apple Watch as I’ve been using this method for a while and find it easier.I’ve used the earphones at the gym and glad there haven’t been any false touches from the touch controls.

The Fitness earphones that you won't take off
I initially purchased this product for the intent of gym/ fitness use. So my criteria was the following.1. Earhoop system [ so they don't fall out], 2. Good battery life, 3. Sweat proof as the minimum water resistant, 4, comfort for long lengths of time, 5. Decent sound quality for music, 6. Internal Mic for calls [ just incase]I have used them several times in the gym for 3hrs+ and they have been solid and comfortable, they are rated at 6hr battery life, I reckon they can go a bit more depends how loud you want your audio. At 3hrs in the gym listening to the radio from the phone I still had 60% battery life.Transmission range is also quite decent, can get clear audio at 20/30m line of sight and if your phone is on the ground floor and you are on the 2nd floor it does start to crackle as expected.I found myself using these more for podcasts because of the high comfort levels, I do recommend you swap the ear inserts to the red ones supplied in the box as the rubber seal on them is nice and snug to drown out a bit more outside notice.Call wise, the clarity is good, with the person on the other end hearing the voice clearly and not realising I was not using the phone, this does impact a bit more on battery life but at 90mins I was left with 70% juice.Do with all this in mind, I did look into mpow, beats pro, Anker, but eventually got this. The main stand out points having used this now is how versatile this is.Comfort, good audio and battery life are solid.

Keep disconnecting and stop charging
First of all I am a fan of Tozo, I have a T12 and these T5 (sports) headphones. The sound frequency range, not just bass but also trebles, is really good compared to others in this price bracket and they sit quite well in the ear canal. However, the issue that makes me not use the T5 and consider returning them is that they keep disconnecting from Bluetooth for no particular reason - certainly not because of range as it happens with the phone just next to to them. To reconnect them you have to put them back in the case and take out again which restarts the connection, but what if you don't have the case? Presumably there is a way to reset them, but the point is, it should not happen as it impacts the user experience. The other issue is that their position in the case is very fiddly, you have to really pay attention to whether the little LEDs on both light up the right way as sometimes they wouldn't start charging and next time you want to use them, you find one or both discharged. Perhaps this also happens if you shake the case, e.g. in your pocket or backpack - you end up not being able to use them when you need them. The case also does not show whether it's charged or not which is a nuisance as unless you remember to charge it regularly, you again find out it's out of charge when you need it.All in all, do some reseach and look into other options before you decide on the T5. They are just not reliable and can let you down when you need them.

TOZO have done it again!
As I have mentioned in my previous reviews, I own lots and lots of headphones, in ear, over ear, ear buds etc.My son has a pair of TOZO T6 which he uses daily, I have the NC9. My wife wanted earbuds to use during exercise classes and I had a look around for something decent but not too expensive. Once again I decided to look at the TOZO range and saw the T5's. Just over £40, same large drivers as the NC9 and not too bulky. She has been using them for a few sessions now and is very impressed with them. Good sound quality, comfortable, and easy to clean and charge. Downsides are the charging case is quite large to accommodate the ear loops obviously, and the battery life whilst good for around four hours is not quite as good as the NC9. Also the mic seems to be slightly less sensitive than NC9.However, overall performance is on a par, and in some aspects (comfort & background noise isolation) much better than earbuds costing more than twice as much.
