These are great!
I always feel weird about running my brush back through the barrel, I usually always go chamber to muzzle and pull all the way through. But with these I can scrub back and forth and it gets a good cleaning. Obviously I will still use bronze/brass every once in a while, but these will be my routine cleaning brushes from now on.

They work and are easy to clean
Pros: they work, are easy to clean (dish soap), and do not react with the bore cleaner.Cons: none

Be good to your bore with a nylon brush, and no false copper indications with this brush
I don't use brass brushes any more, and I never used stainless brushes. I prefer to wrap a patch around a nylon brush, soak it with BoreTech bore cleaning solution, and pull it from chamber to muzzle using an Otis cable. BoreTech makes my favorite brushes but these Tipton brushes are nearly identical. They have plated steel wire to secure the bristles (they do not shed bristles) and the threaded tips are aluminum. The steel should never come in contact with the bore so there should be no bore damage unless you are very reckless in jamming these brushes into a bore. It would seem to be impossible to have the twisted steel wire center section to contact the bore when pulling the brush with a cable. The aluminum tip won't scratch the bore, and (this is for the big win) there is no false blue indication of copper when cleaning copper fouling out of the bore. If you use a brass brush, or a brush with a brass threaded tip, you can see phantom copper evidence from the brush so you'll never know when the copper has been cleaned from the bore. These brushes last a LONG time, so they're a good value. A good bore cleaning solution like BoreTech Eliminator does the work for you, particularly if you run a wet patch and clean the rest of the gun while it's doing its thing, and then run a couple of more wet patches and an oil patch to finish, so you should never need to work up a sweat scrubbing a bore. Most people scrub the bore too much. Less is more in this case. More bore life. More accuracy longer.

These are better on your barrel life.
These are better on your barrel life.. you just need to put a little more time in cleaning. But the results are awesome. I use a little Iosso on mine

Well made
These are especially useful when using a copper cleaner as they do not have brass bristles that will turn color making one think copper fouling is an issue when it is actually the brass bristle causing the color.

do not buy
it's not against the product, but don't think that plastic brush will clean anything out. it's more like damping with cleaner and brush into the barrel.bronze brush won't damage stainless steel, so brush away. it's way more effective.

Good but not as good as brass brushes.
The nylon brush is not cleaning as good as brass brushes for removing carbon. I use them with a patch to remove copper.
