Beautiful, Practical, and Works So Well
Iโm very happy with this glass canister. I originally ordered one to hold coffee, and it worked so well that I ordered another one to use for guacamole in the refrigerator. It has worked better than any other product I have tried for keeping guacamole fresh. The glass is nice weight and quality, and I love being able to see whatโs inside. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Works great for keeping coffee beans fresh
I highly recommend this medium (7") container. It keeps my coffee fresh and holds a full pound of whole beans (see picture). The seals are supple and do their job of 360-degree sealing. What I like about this is that it forces the excess air out, thus reducing the rate of oxidation. I also prefer to NOT have a vacuum so additional CO2 is not pulled out of the beans. While both lids work together to keep out fresh air it cannot be considered leak-proof. Even with the handle in the "lock" position on the inner lid it's still possible to insert and extract it. While there is a seal at the vent port in the center of the inner lid it's not aero-space engineered for absolute sealing! Thus if you got a fresh-from-the-roaster batch of beans and tossed them in there and sealed it all up, the beans would still be able to out-gas the CO2 and burp from the center vent of the inner lid with a small but sufficient pressure while the top lid, if there was enough pressure, would be pushed up and allow the gases to vent. Since I get my beans about a week aged this is not a concern.People need to be a bit more reasonable with their expectations. With both lids, used in a typical kitchen environment, it will be overkill for keeping goods fresh versus an ordinary metal or ceramic container that doesn't have a seal -- or left in the bag like I used to do, LOL.Cons:- It's a fingerprint magnet.- You will see how "dirty" it gets e.g. coffee bean oils. If you're of the mindset of "if it doesn't look dirty it doesn't need to be cleaned" then get one of their metal units.- If your goods need to be kept in the dark this isn't it. But AirScape does make containers that are not clear and do the same great job!Pros:- Holds a pound of coffee beans with room to spare!- Allows you to see exactly how much is left (less guess work). I keep my container in a spot that doesn't get much artificial light, no sunlight, and I got through a pound quickly so light exposure is not an issue for me.- The lid is real wood. Elm I believe.- Does stop air exchange as designed.I struggled with deciding on getting one of their metal, colored units instead of this as the metal ones look great. Hmm, I just may do that for the pre-ground coffee my wife uses...

Great Storage Container
Nice storage jar. I like how you can remove all the air to preserve whatโs inside. I ended up returning only because the clear glass isnโt the best for storing coffee beans due to the light entering the canister. I ordered the stainless version and it works great!

Excellent container, could use a protective layer on the bottom
This product is excellent at keeping things fresh. Really ideal for things like coffee beans that spoil when it exposed to air. It also looks great on the counter. The only downside is the glass feels a bit thin on the bottom. I have granite counters and every time I put it down, I worry it'll break. A coaster solves the problem, but it would be even better if it had a thin protective layer on the bottom like the metal Airscape containers.

Attractive & Functional
I already own an AirScape metal canister for storing coffee that I'm very happy with. I bought this glass canister for storing pistachios on my computer work desk. The glass is substantial, not thin and delicate. It's worth the price.

No more brown guacamole!!
I loved this glass food storage canister so much that I ordered a replacement when the first one broke! I was so sad!At nearly $40, it is pricey, but so worth it to have fresh guacamole that doesn't turn brown! This is the only reason I bought it, though I'm sure it would be great for other foods that you want to keep fresh. While the glass is a liability (mine broke when it slipped from my hands while washing dishes), I much prefer it to plastic. I don't need any more microplastics in my body!It is very easy to use and keeps the guacamole fresh for many days. I make the guacamole in another bowl, then transfer to this container, press all the air out with the black inner seal, then put the bamboo lid on. It holds a large amount of guacamole, so you can make enough for a party...ahead of time!Cleaning is also simple. I put everything in the dishwasher besides the bamboo lid, which I wash by hand.Overall, this is one of the best purchases I've made for my kitchen. The biggest negative is the price, but again, soooo worth it to solve the ugly brown guacamole issue! I will probably buy more as gifts for my adult kids.

Coffee Fresh!
We previously had a Fellow canister as a love their products. However, it lost suction in less than 24 hours. This solved our problem instantly with its high quality, thickness and great durability. We instantly smell the freshness of the coffee, I cannot recommend this enough! Way better than Fellow and much cheaper!
