ImageMate PRO USB-C Reader/Writer - SDDR-A631-GNGNN

It does what it promises to do. A reasonably fast, not overly expensive reader for several memory card formats. It plugs right in and is recognized (Win 11 PC) with no drama.

Really good and fast, better than others I bought that were really slow. It’s a little pricey but it’s really worth it. Good size to just throw in your camera bag.

I needed to replace my CF Card reader, I decided to go with the SanDisk ImageMate. What attracted to me was the SanDisk brand and the over all design of the reader. It is well built, deceptively heavy for its compact design, and is easily packed into my camera bag. The USB cable that included is not very long but it is detachable and can be replaced with a longer cable. I have been using it regularly for the past month and it works well, I have not measured the transfer rate but transfers go through a good rate. I would recommend this if you are looking for a memory card reader.

If you want accurate speed readings on SD cards, then your reader and cable need to be adequate. This reader works. I was skeptical of the performance of a card I recently bought and was questioning its authenticity. This proved it was an old, outdated reader. The card was good. Performance of this is fast. Expensive compared to budget readers for obvious reasons.

Replaced a much older SanDisk reader and this one is so much faster. Delivery was very good and the build quality is typical SanDisk. You won't be disappointed with this reader.

Conectado a un puerto USB-C, da una velocidad de transferencia -con tarjetas profesionales- de más de 200 mb/s, lo que me permite transferir grandes cantidades de datos en muy pocos minutos. Altamente recomendable para cualquier fotógrafo y/o videografo profesional.

Using this with a SanDisk Extreme Pro 1 TB microSDXC card gave me a write speed of 100 MByte/sec and a Read speed of 140MB/s - 10 times quicker than my old Sandisk Reader. The reader feels solidly built, the SD Slots have a latch mechanism to stop accidental disconnects, and there's a nice "In use" Light on the top of the device - it's a nice palmable size, too. It's also very well priced for the build quality and speed. The only drawback is that it's not a true USB-C Device: On the back of the unit is a MicroUSB3 socket, and in the box a MicroUSB3 to USB-C Cable - MicroUSB3 is a bit of an unusual connector, so while they give you everything you need in the box, it limits the "Use Everywhere" appeal as you have to carry a rare-ish cable around with you. I'm using mine with a PIHEN USB 3.0 A to Micro B Cable (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B075M62PXB), as my photo rig has USB3, but not USB-C. This is a good card reader and a very reliable one. The advantage is that it come with a Micro B cable on the card-reader end for Data + Power supply, which is usually used for portable hard drives and USB-C on the device end such at Mac Pc. And I can actually use my portable hard drives Micro B to USB 3.0 for Windows pc. The card reader is heavy which is on a good side because its a durable and sturdy built.
