Excellent grow lights...Gold and Silver bulbs outperform, but the white bulb not so much.....
The media could not be loaded. There are 3 bulbs listed: Gold/Silver and WhiteReview of White Bulb: Summary: Good light doesn't heat up too much, has good spread and brightness, but only 13 watts. Using a "Kill-A-Watt" device for testing, this only consumed 14 watts at startup, and after a few minutes drops down to 13 watts. Light spread is decent (a cone of about 27" from a distance of 36") It has only red and blue LED elements, and the light never gets more than a little warm, so the cooling fins seem to be more than enough.Review of Gold/Silver bulbs: Summary: Lights outperform spec and consume 18 watts each. They are *REALLY FRICKING BRIGHT* and my eyes have residual spots just from seeing the reflected light, more so than the white bulb. Spread is about 22" at a distance of 36", so a narrower beam. The only difference I can tell between the silver and gold versions is the color of the heat sink.Sample provided for evaluation.

It does work. See my plant's new growth.
I am reviewing Honesteast 16 watt LED Grow Lights for Indoor Plants.I love plants and personal opinion, live plants add lots of pleasure. I really enjoy watering them and watching it getting big. As much as I love having live indoor plants, I have limited space to house plants because of location of windows. I have large windows and room stays bright. But, it does not get sun, which most plant’s needs. My windows either facing East. East sun is short in the morning and doesn’t provide enough sun lights for my plants.I heard Grow lights for plants are really does a good job providing the sun that plants need, but I never used them. My sister was using artificial light for plants and she said her electric bills gets pretty high. * Note: She doesn’t use LED bulbs. This is LED Grow light, so I thought I give a go.I had to come up with a way to use the bulb, since I don’t have the system for Plant Growing lamp. So, I used what I have, Artist Lamp that can be attached to desk. I install this lamp on window sill and put this Honesteast 16 watt LED Grow Lights for Indoor Plants. I also set timer to turn this on few hours in the morning and few hours in the afternoon. Re-arrange my plants around, so that plants that require sunlight to be near the lamp.I had dying plant and hoping it will give back the life it needs. I am happy to report it is starting to shoot out new growth. This bulbs doesn’t get hot, so I believe it won’t burn the plants. It’s been about a month since I used this bulbs and I haven’t noticed increase in my electric bill. It’s pretty much same as usual.I will continue experiment with this light and watch for the electric bills. If it continue to make my plants to grow healthy and electric bill doesn’t get out of control, I will buy it more of these bulbs in the future. This is first plant growing light I ever used, so I can’t compare this to other similar bulbs, but so far, I am impressed.Disclaimer: I received discount coupon code for this item to check out and write my personal opinion. Growing Herbs Indoors
I had never used a grow light before, but I have definitely needed one for herbs that keep dying on my kitchen window ledge (there's just not enough light there, since most herbs need a lot of direct sunlight). So when the distributors of this Honesteast grow light asked me if I would review the product, I was excited to try it. I went to Home Depot and bought basil, oregano, rosemary, and parsley, to replace the herbs that had died. The grow light was very easy to set up because it fits in any regular light bulb socket. I would have liked to have some instructions saying how far away the light should be from the plant, how many hours a day the light should be on, how many plants can benefit from the radius of the light, etc. I had to guess at these things, so I set it up about 2 1/2 feet above the plants and keep it on during daylight hours. So far, I'm finding that the herbs are growing well after 10 days of testing--usually they would probably be wilting by now. So, there seems to be great benefit to this light. This grow light stays cool because it's LED, and the 16 watts seem to be a good amount of power for the four small plants. Do note that it's VERY pink light, so you'll want to set it up in a place where that will not be a distraction. Overall, if this light can keep the herbs growing, it will be a thrill for the family. We love fresh herbs year round and will use this light to grow them.Below is my recipe for dipping sauce for Italian bread, with fresh herbs, if you'd like to try it.NOTE: If you want to use dried herbs instead of fresh, use 1/2 the amounts of basil, oregano, rosemary and thyme indicated below.• 1 cup extra virgin olive oil• 1/4 cup aged balsamic vinegar or 2 Tablespoons lemon juice (or combination)• 3 cloves garlic, minced• 3 Tablespoons fresh basil• 2 Tablespoon fresh oregano• 2 teaspoon fresh thyme• 1/2 teaspoon fresh rosemary• 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt• 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper• 1 Tablespoon parmesan cheese (optional)Mix all ingredients in a covered bottle. Refrigerate 8 hours. Shake and serve with fresh bread. Keep refrigerated. Optionally cut additional fresh herb leaves for garnish. Enjoy!
