Item description says this is bamboo and the sides are indeed bamboo, but the all important base is actually some kind of printed synthetic wood/paper board.

Such a good value. This tray is exactly what I was looking for, very sturdy and a chic wooden color. This tray can serve as a functional serving tray or decor for your home.Our plan is to add some greenery and leave it as a centerpiece under a table runner for our farm table! Pictures attached of the item in person - very well made and it is at a great price point. Color is similar to the Threshold candle lids from target!

Love this tray. Perfect size for the rattan table I bought which didn’t allow items to sit flat on it.. I wanted the tray slightly lighter so I sanded it down lightly and added flat back wood beads to go with the look of the room.

Not really sure how I lived without these trays. I use them for so many things: drinks, snacks, papers, transporting food from the kitchen, etc.. The bamboo color has a boho feel. I want them for every room.

While a bit smaller than I thought, it serves my wife well when she needs a meal in bed due to her illness...

I literally use this every day / love having a flat spot for my coffee mug on our huge couch has come in very handy and able to have a space without an extra table and it looks nice too

Very happy with this purchase. It is used for a table top of sorts for a round storage ottoman that is next to a couch. Since the storage ottoman has a soft quilted top a cup wouldn’t sit level without this tray. Plus if a spill happens it’ll be much easier to clean and to contain the mess. I was delighted that it fitted perfectly. The quality is good and it is well made. I am waiting for this size to be available again so I can order another one for the same purpose on the other side of the couch. Definitely recommend it!

First time I ordered theses in summer 21, there were a neutral color overall. This time it seems like the tray bottoms are synthetic bamboo that has a very yellowish hue to it that I don't care for. I like the natural neutral wood tone of the rounded sides of the tray the new tray. Why did the tray bottoms change?
