Best Premium Quality Olive Oil Vinegar 2 in 1 Sprayer Mister

This is a really neat concept and I was really excited about using this on a daily basis. (I have pet chickens, and we eat fried eggs using olive oil rather than butter).Unfortunately, I'm returning this to amazon. After reading the instructions, I began to wash/rinse as was suggested, before putting any actual olive oil in it. I pumped it a few times to let the sudsy water clean out the mister, and was impressed with the ratio/selector functionality.Well, after about 10 pumps, the plastic top completely popped off from the metal base! I re-seated the top into the base, and resumed spraying. A few pumps later, it popped off again, and I believe a spring became unseated from where it was supposed to be within the handle, so I rinsed it out and gave up, deciding to send it back.I felt kind of bad, as the manual states that lifestyle yes is a family run company/small business, and I try to support those as often as possible, but this product has a fatal design flaw: In order to operate the sprayer trigger in a natural way, the part of your hand that the sprayer rests on (the grip, if you will) rests right where the metal joins the plastic piece, which isn't super sturdy, at least in the sprayer that I received.Before deciding to return it, I briefly thought about super gluing the plastic to metal, but quickly realized that doing so would prevent the ratio/selection functionality from working at all.I see that there are many great reviews of this product; perhaps I and the few other people that had trouble with the handle coming apart have hands shaped in such a way that when this sprayer is held, our grip falls on a weak point.Perhaps the joint between the plastic and metal is less strong in some sprayers than others, resulting in a defective one.Judging by the majority of good reviews, I would suggest giving it a try. If, during the process of rinsing/washing, you have no problem with the top popping off from the metal while you use the trigger, I would say keep it!I'm giving it 3 out of 5 stars, because while the product failed instantly for me, I believe that I might have just gotten unlucky with a defective one.The few sprays of water, with the variable ratio from each side impressed me so much that I'm still giving it 3 out of 5, haha.

Andy stated in over 200 sales this has never happened, so this may just be an anomaly.======Review on 2nd Sprayer========Andy, from lifestyleyes was great in getting a replacement at reduced cost after the first sprayer broke. Unfortunately had the same exact result with the 2nd sprayer. Filled with water to clean, then pumped 4-5 times and the top completely came off. It seemed great for the brief time it sprayed. Happy everyone else has not had this problem. The two pictures posted are from two different sprayers with the same result.====== Review on 1st Sprayer=========This seems like a nice sprayer. But the top of it completely came off while trying to follow the procedure for cleaning the unit. Returning it to Amazon for a refund.

This is so convenient for anyone who uses these two things a lot. Great for breads and salads. The sprayer, while plastic, is very good quality, solid and sturdy. It is easy to fill, change the settings, and spray in whatever ratio chosen. I was able to receive this at a discount in exchange for testing it out and giving an honest review. When I first put this together, the olive oil side was spraying straight instead of in a mist, but I messed with it for half a minute, and ever since it has been working as intended. I love that I can use this to spray my baking pans without waste, and give up the cheap vegetable sprays for good. I never would have thought I needed this product, but it turns out I am using it quite often.

Leaks and cumbersome to use. Easy to mix up the oil and the vinegar and get the wrong one used. I gave this away as I couldn't return it :/

it's NOT a mister. even though I read all the reviews and asked questions, it still squirts out a STREAM of oil. :(

i had this item for about 6 month of light use. The top broke and is not usable anymore. I tried contacting seller thru amazon, but ended up in a loop without success.

It sprays more like a stream instead of a mist but I think its great! Both sides work well.

Sprays room temperature olive oil in a jet spray. I returned mine.
