So I bought three of these as presents. I gave three stars because the light is definitely bright! They are much smaller than I expected. It fit a smaller adult male but the average male it wouldn't even stay on his head. He gave it to my 7 year old and it fits well. I also don't like that all the wires stick out. It would be easy to sew it in with just the switch exposed. But I guess for the price I may have been expecting too much. All in all the light is bright, it works, and beanie size at best is kid large.

Bought it for my husband as an add-on gift. We live on a boat year-round on the East Coast, so many is the time that I nervously watch my husband head out onto the docks in winter to check on lines or some other consideration. This hat gives him hands-free ability and helped me breathe easier, knowing he had two hands to grab hold of something fast if the docks were slippery. He's used it on the docks as well as the engine room. Absolutely loved by both of us. In fact, our son now wants one.

Led beanie hat arrived when expected, in good condition. Item was what I expected, looks good, and light is very bright. It was a Christmas gift so can't comment on how well it functions for the recipients, but I'm sure they'll like it very much.

My dog and I walk early AM and by the time I get home, it is already dark. I have tripped in pot holes or over stuff in the road I can't see, plus cars can't see us. But not any more. This hat not only lights our way, but keeps my ears and head warm and allows cars to see us. It is VERY bright!!! Love it

Bought this for and older friend of mine who often works outside late. He loves it and doesn't have to worry about having a flashlight on hand. I have also purchased it for my teenage grandsons and it was a big hit. This is a great hat to have when shoveling snow after dark or even to wear in the house if the power goes out! "

Got this for running in the dark and it works alright, however, the wires for the LED light disconnected/broke after a couple of wears. Apparently the wires are sensitive to how you cart this hat around.

Bought several of these for Christmas gifts and they were well received. Great for night time BBQing or if you need to look under the hood of the car in the dark. It frees up your hands while providing light at the same time.

My very first thought when I saw this product was that it would be perfect for going out early in the morning to clear the snow off your car. Very bright light, fairly warm beanie. Isn't that all you are looking for in this type of product?
