Great product! Holds up well to weather and temperature conditions.
Use this on my brake caliper guide pins. Works perfectly, holds up to temperatures and weather. Does not harm rubber or polyurethane, nor does it interact with the metal pieces.Always keep a tube in my toolbox.

So far so good...
Long story short, had a brake job done with a friend and shortly after my brakes were squealing and it was becoming insufferable since the pads were working fine. I reached out to a mechanic and he said most likely it could be the pads themselves, the place where the pads sit in the caliper or the contact point where the piston makes contact with the pad. Since I wanted to do the replacement myself, I was informed to buy this product and investigate these areas to see where the sound could be coming from. In addition, they recommended applying the lubricate on the metal clipers where the brake pads make contact at the top and bottom where they sit in the caliper. Worse case, he suggested applying it on the back of the pad where the piston makes contact but that this isn't recommended since it could result in issues with the piston. So, after disaasembly, it was discovered that there were no brake shims and that outter and inner pads were switched. The new pads I put in have the necessary shims so I only applied lubricant to the contact points of the brake pad as it sits in the caliper. After two weeks, the squeal is gone and the brakes are performing better than the last set of pads. I will be using this lubricant for future brake jobns and a lesson was learned to simply do the research and do it yourself.
