im a huge anime fan. out of all the anime ive watched, Nara Shikamaru is my favorite character. i enjoy reading fanfics, but this book is a real analysis of who Shikamaru really is. many fanfics paint him to be more outgoing and unintentionally superior, when in fact, he is a quiet super low key loner chain-smoking kinda dude, speaking only when needed, spending much of his time evaluating his crazy smart thoughts. his effortless intelligence is highlighted in the book and is a reflection of who he truly is. wish there were more shikatema and shikadai moments, but i love the sneak peeks into his family dynamic that are given to the reader. of course Naruto makes several appearances, as well as a few characters from the first Shikamaru hiden. read it in a few hours! highly recommended. overlook the spelling errors and typos.

Out of all the Naruto novels, this one actually made me misty-eyed. The book does a wonderful job of showing how Shikamaru has grown up and how he is one of the smartest ninjas. Easily, one of my favorite novels.

Shikamaru's Story: Morning Clouds novel is in excellent condition and I don't wish to spoil any details about the book. However, I will say that I loved reading it, because he's Naruto's shadow same as Sasuke. He also learns to open up to his family, which makes him a good husband and father.

This book was amazing! I read it all in one sitting. You get to see how Shikamaru truly thinks about his job and family. It was written with a lot of passion and thought. Seeing Shikamaru break down was a beautiful scene to read. Highly recommend. You won’t regret it.

Great book about a great character. Was expecting it to look like a manga, but was surprised to see it's an actual novel. Great gift to get the Naruto fan in your life.

The book itself is fine, but it is wrought with editing mistakes. Sometimes multiple times a chapter you'll find typos. Only made worse by the fact that the book isn't even long. These really mistakes should have been stamped out by an editor. Though, that aside the book is actually really good.

It's so hard to get into the thoughts of characters sometimes, but novels allow just that. So happy to have read this!
