Kitaboshi 2.0mm Mechanical Pencil, Wooden Barrel, #1 B, Black Lead, 1ea (OTP-580N)

I love nice writing implements. Pens, pencils, chalk on a garage floor.... This is my go to pencil for meetings. It's extremely comfortable to handle and is unassuming unless people look closely. It says to the office that I'm not committed to pen on paper, these scribbles can be erased. At the same time it's a step above the others frantically scribbling and clicking away on their 0.7mm leads. One of my best intoxicated impulse buys ever.

Did I mention comfortable in my hand, Fells like a standard pencil, Without the waste! The only thing is I would suggest using a different lead then the one supplied! Thank again Amazon!

I like this although I don't use it very often, at first I thought that some of the parts were plastic but I was wrong.

MAYBE a bit pricey but it is a beautiful piece... nicely finished, comfortable diameter. Not slippery. Getting a couple more as I really like it

Great 2mm clutch pencil! It weight similar to a real wood pencil. The balance is also superb!

The only thing different about this lead holder is that it exposes the lead incrementally when you press the top instead of letting the lead slide out as most others do. I don't find this to be an advantage one way or the other. It is a little lighter in weight than some others, but I would recommend buying what feels good or what is cheaper.

One of the best mechanical pencils I've ever come across. The lead holder advance mechanism works incrementally exceedingly well, unlike most lead holders which don't have this feature. The wooden outer layer feels very comfortable to hold and is very well balanced. My only slight negative would be a lack of a pocket clip, but with most artists or drafters this wouldn't be a problem. At this price point for me it was a no-brainer.
