I purchased the Velvet Black for my DT 770s, and I'll start of by saying: These are by far the most comfortable earpads I've ever used. They're extremely soft and cushiony. The black goes really well with the black on the headphones.Now... for my gripe: They absolutely change the sound profile. They're way more open than the original DT 770 pads. They allow a lot more outside noise and sound in, therefor, they let out a lot too. This in turn makes the bass less impactful and not as deep. This isn't an issue, just something I noticed.If you're not SUPER into having bass or care about outside noise, they're some of the best I've used. Period. I did go back to stock, but that's just me.

I'll be the first to say that I think a lot of the revelation that people experience when switching between audio gear comes just from hearing something they already know in a slightly different way. Still, wow! I'm using these on DT-770 Pro 80 Ohm cans, and the soundstage is noticeably wider than with stock earpads. I also find these more comfortable; there's less pressure on my jaw and my earlobes.I removed the black foam insert underneath the stock earpads since these also have a protective foam sheet. Either due to this or just from changing the earpads, the highs sound less pronounced to me, which somehow results in a less harsh, more neutral sound. I kind of miss the very-clearly-defined highs, but the sound is so easy to listen to, now, I don't think I'll go back.

The ear cups themselves are extremely comfortable and I have no problems there, if you’re buying solely for comfort i highly recommend and think these are more comfortable than the stock pads, however the foam cover attached to the ear pads is very thin and noticeably distorts the sounds. Adjusting my volume settings did a pretty good job at fixing that and would be fine for most people but I opted to just cut them out and keep the stock foam which works fine. In short they’re comfortable but not exactly plug n’ play if you want the highest sound quality possible

Fits good and cheap.Comfortable.Stays cool.However, changes sound profile too much (greatly reduced bass and sound quality) partially due to seal.I have to knock off 2 stars mainly for the sound quality and isolation reduction, I have more sound leak than any open eat headphones while using these on a closed back DT770 pro.

I added these to my DT990 Pro 250s. I've always preferred open-back headphones when it comes to playing video games, listening to music, and watching movies. However, the bass has always been subpar when using open-back. These earpad cushions have drastically improved the bass without impacting the other tones.The comfort is the same if not better as the previously installed ear pads. My headphones are currently paired with the Fiio e10k which comes with a bass gain switch. I always had to have that flipped with the previous ear cushions to get the nice boom I wanted. With these new cushions, I was able to turn the bass switch off as they sound so much better now. Just make sure to remove the original black padding on the inside of the headphones before installing the new cushions. I believe the factory padding was definitely holding these headphones back.The only con was how hard they were to attach to the headphones. The rubber ring that you stretch over the headphones is about 2x wider than the original cushions which made it slightly more difficult to install. But once installed they sound and look great!

In my own opinion and personal experienced, these replacements for my DT990’s are much more comfier than what originally came on the headset. I got the black pair because overtime it seems the grey gets its colored washed out and looks nasty. I will say the most frustrating part is actually getting the new cups on but with a little patience it’s not so bad. I found it easiest to start on the bottom and work my way up. I will only be buying these now for when they need to be replaced again, probably another 3 years from no! Haha

These replacement cushions for my DT 990 Pros are amazing. They feel extremely good and in my opinion, better than the factory ones from Beyerdynamic. Although I do not have any problems with these cushions, if you like the sound of your headphones as they are with the factory cushions, then I would suggest getting the exact replacement from Beyerdynamic. The sound quality doesnt change a lot, but if you notice minor changes in sound, then you will definitely notice a difference with these. After having them for a few months, I have gotten used to the sound and they still feel amazing. I actually like the new sound quality, but that will vary from person to person. Overall, 10/10 for me, but may be different to others due to the change in sound.

They are comfortable, but a little stuffy. Like after an hour of use, you can feel a little claustrophobic. They are pretty good otherwise. Don't mess up or muffle the sound at all. A bit difficult to install the first time, but not bad after.

لها تقريبا سنه معي ركبتها ع دي تي 990 ركبت بس يبيلك تتعب ع تركيبها لان مو مره نفس المقاس بالضبط بس ركبت وكويسه ولا تطيح ف لا تخاف بتركب ع السماعه كويس بس عريضه شوي مو زي حقت الدي تي الرصاصيه نحيفه اما ذي سماكتها عاليه شوي بس كويسه يعني لو رجع الزمن بشتريها مره ثانيه

Fits very nicely and much more comfortable than the default earpads.
