Just raw and beautiful
Really beautiful portrait of decaying lives. I sticks to your head and heart. Really honest photography.

Sad photos of people I knew
I knew David Roper and Bobby Dean Morris in the early 70’s. I didn’t know about them shooting up. I wonder if they are still alive. David was a very handsome man. I didn’t know much about him except he hung out with other people I knew. Bobby Dean was always nice around me. I never saw the wilder side of him. He had some beautiful Harleys, a three wheeler and beautiful old cars he had redone. We use to ride around on his three wheeler Harley. I wish the photographer would have put the names with the other photos. I only knew two of them.

Not for the faint of heart.
A very disturbing series of photographs that tells an interesting story of depraved behavior. I enjoyed the selection of photos that I saw at the Denver art museum so I ordered the whole book. I thought I knew what I was in for but some of the photos are still hard for me to look at. While there are a lot of photos that are just plain creepy there are some that are also just plain interesting and even clever. I'm glad I bought it, but I sure don't leaf through it everyday.

Glad this was reissued.
I love Larry Clark's work, as a photographer and a filmmaker. His work captures that raw, real sexuality. His work is both beautiful and obscene, it can be polarizing, but thought provoking.

“Once the needle goes in it never comes out.”
I’m not much of a student of photography, but I found the images in this book extremely moving, almost hurtful and definitely sad. I have a few other books of late 20th century photos, and none seem to have the power that this slim volume does.

Slightly disappointed. Been wanting this book for yearrrs, but I'm left feeling meh. Probably because for some reason I was expecting the book to be bigger and more photos to be in it.

さらに過去、Bruce Weberの"The Andy Book ('87)"、"Bruce Weber ('91)"などは、First Edition(のみ)から完全なるJapan企画、本家America(US)には逆輸入?
