Cute little bears
Each piece of this Kates Tappsy licorice is shaped like a panda head, with either white faces and black ears or black ears and white faces. The white portion has a marshmallow-like texture. The black is a bit more chewy but still rather soft. The panda heads contain three percent licoric extract. This would ordinarily mean a pretty strong licorice taste. However, the licorice taste is surprisingly mild. These are a great novelty item and are really cute.
