Has anyone else had issues with the tassels coming undone after washing and then tangling into a mess? 1st wash & about half of them are unwound. :(

Mine fall apart all the time. I've mostly just not bothered anymore with retying them. The towels down fall apart, it's just the tassels that are frayed. What I found though is that they fall apart the faster my spin cycle is. You can wash them in a delicates bag or just put them on low spin (or no spin if you want to hang them dry)

Are these actually made in Turkey?

We are the original Nature Is Gift towel sellers. We are buying from Turkey and also from India. All Our Organic Cotton towels are made in India. Conventional cotton ones are made in Turkey.

How much does it shrink in length when it is washed?

I use warm water, but did not shrink at all

Are they sand resistant?

I use ours at the beach but more as alight towel to dry with or wrap in when getting out of the water. Have never used them to put down on sand and lay on.
