Solid and stable with large adjustable shelf. Very easy to assemble and feels very sturdy. Plan to use a 12.9” iPad Pro on the shelf. It fits and sits with plenty of room around the device and charging cable routed through the holes. Very pleased.

We’ve been using this sheet stand in our church, and overall it’s been great. The build quality is solid and very sturdy, so it holds up well during services. It is spacious, making it easy to hold large sermon or sheet music. My only disappointment is the “wooden” top—it doesn’t feel like real wood at all and looks more like a sticker or laminate finish. Still, from a distance, it looks fine and doesn’t detract from its function. Overall, it serves its purpose perfectly for church use: sturdy, spacious, and good quality.

I bought this in November as a Christmas present. It was used for the first time in January and by the end of February it had broken. The weld at the bottom where the screw goes in has broken and the stand is now unusable. It has been used three or four times a week as a conductors stand and has been looked after carefully. I am unable to return it as it is beyond the returns window.

This is a weighty stand, that feels solid and well balanced. No instructions came to help with assembly, so a little intuition was required to assemble it; however, its a worthwhile addition to my studio.

My son is very happy with his new stand. It is so much better than the flimsy ones he has owned in the past. The low profile base is much less of a tripping hazard, and it's nice and sturdy. Happy with purchase.

Pros. Very sturdy. The base alone weighs more than the whole of some other stands I’ve purchased and sent back. And that’s what I need. From a practical point of view it’s easier to have all your music sheets in a folder. Therefore it’s important to have a sturdy base to hold the number of sheets you build up over the course of a few years. Eventually you’ll replace them with music books which can be heavier. The construction of the individual items are solid and well put together. There seems to be very little chance of the threads stripping or the plastic wearing. There’s little or no sway when turning pages of the music folder. Someone designing this has thought carefully about keeping the base as low to the floor as possible which helps massively with stability. Cons. This is a major one on which the picture says everything. It’s low. It measures around 4ft 9inches. Unless you’re under 5ft 6 inches this could prove to be a major problem for those that prefer to stand when playing a woodwind instrument. I play the tenor and like to stand straight with shoulders back and feet planted. Without the old pc I’ve had to use to make it taller, i find myself stooping to read my music from midway down to the bottom of the sheets. After a while this can ruin my posture, puts fatigue on my neck and changes the way I play. A simple solution would be to make the poles slightly longer or to offer longer poles as an added accessory. At this price point it should be fairly simple. I’m lucky in that I don’t have to travel with this…yet. Having to heft a tenor around is bad enough, but a music stand and some kind of platform would be too much. I’ll persevere with it for now as I can’t take away the fact that it is the most solid stand I’ve found (without having to resort to photographic stands) but if it becomes too troublesome I may have to rethink my options.
