Hakko999-205-02 - Loc-Line Kit with Rectangle Nozzle

The loc-line and nozzle can be had for not much $ but the table mount... that's the hard to find, expensive bugger.We ordered it for use with soldering/reflow/etc stations with the idea to move it as needed, station to station.The lower hose Hakko included in the kit however is fragile and would not last long being moved around like that. There are other ESD safe hoses you could swap it with and it's a shame they don't come with this kit! They are about $25 for 6 feet.The powder-coated table clamp turned out to be a simple steel tube, tack welded through a plate, that has holes cut out for Bessie clamps. Simple & effective.If you're going to swap the lower hose and have a welder.. you might want to skip this. However if you're not into making your own solution and don't plan on moving the kit - this is a solid option.It's currently sucking up sawdust from my stationary bandsaw at home. We swapped to the other Hakko tubes in the lab.

Excellent for Hakko fume extractor. You can actually fit two of these on that unit. I would definitely getting two. It is good for your health and it will reduce the smell of fumes on your work room.

My first instinct is to say that this device is overpriced. However, it performs perfectly, and there doesn't seem to be any option which accomplishes the same task for less money.

It's waaaay overpriced, but if you're tired of inhaling solder fumes, it's the only game in town.
