Delicious and arrived frozen!
These are delicious. Used them to make a homemade version of "Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams" Brambleberry Crisp ice cream. Yummy beyond words! Wouldn't have known about Black Currants if it weren't for the ingredients listed for Jeni's delicious store creation. Had to do a lot of research, because I only knew of the currants that are the shriveled up savory raisin-like things (totally different). Black Currants are pretty rare here in the U.S., but turns out, Healthline says, "blackcurrants carry four times the amount of vitamin C as oranges, and double the amount of antioxidants as blueberries. The benefits of vitamin C are many. The body uses vitamin C to metabolize protein and form collagen, which is essential for skin care and anti-aging." Blueberries are considered one of the healthiest berries in the world, so doubling that is pretty fantastic.

Very Delicious Smoothie
I ordered and was concerned the berries may not arrive in Houston in good condition because of the intense heat wave. There was no need for me to worry as the box arrived in very good condition. The berries were well packed and the dry ice kept them totally frozen. The look perfectly ripe and taste great in a yogurt smoothie. They are a bit pricey but I am pleased. I ordered because I have a damaged eye that has gone through several surgeries.

Absolutely delectable!
I ordered these last year, and again this year; 4.5 lbs lasts for quite a while! These are pristine: truly natural, wild, as they should taste, perfectly fresh and ripe - just frozen. Come packaged perfectly - two times now I can attest to this - perfectly cold/ frozen, always just right. Black currants are one of the world’s true treasures in benefits to the human body, look it up. Sadly they are not commercially grown in the USA.

So grate flavor
No more useless and sugary jam from the supermarket! Just blend it with 1/4 of shugar and source af vitamins and amaizing spread for breakfast is ready! Smells like from grandma garden! In the fridge it is become like a jelly, rich taste and flavor!
