These socks are great. Got the hot pink ones for a princess peach tennis costume and they were perfect. The white isn’t too see through either. Pretty comfy. Highly recommend.For reference I’m a 9.5-10 in women’s shoes and they fit perfect.

These looked small out of the package, but they stretch - and hold. I wear size 13 shoes and my calves are 18-inches around. I wore these socks all day, with them up to right below my knees, and I never had to hike them back up. Washed them - and darn they look small - but once again they are hugging my calves and staying up.I'm not so sure about the retro 80s thing. It seems this style of socks has always been around - every decade forever. I guess someone made a comical movie that lead people think of these as 80s socks, out of simple ignorance.These socks are sheer and stretchy. Pretty nice, actually. Not like the slouchy terry crew socks of the past. They're still new - lets see if they stand the test of time.

I loved tube socks back in the day! These looks just like the kinds I used to wear. I got them for a costume idea for Halloween but will also just wear them whenever I feel like. They are soft, comfortable and easy to launder. They aren't thick but they aren't real thin either. I don't know why I ever stopped wearing these but I plan on buying more and starting up again. Bring back tube socks!

The socks are made of dense fabric and are very soft and warm. They are not made of see-through material. My wife is 5'2" and the socks come to the knee and stay in place.

Wish I would have checked other people's questions. I thought this was like a regular pack of socks, didn't realize it was only one pair or I would not have bought them. The socks are fine but $10 for one pair? Disappointed.
