This has a very good selection of flavors.

I make a lot of smoked beef jerky as a hobby.

The flavors are good, but a little too salty for my liking. However, the flavors smell wonderful and it was easy the apply the seasonings! My husband and dad really enjoyed them!

First off, my product came packaged nicely, and all season packets were fine, no clumping at all. There is a good bit of curing salt, which is nice, and enough seasoning of each to do a run or 2 filling up 4 trays on a circle dehydrator. I used inferno blend and sweet and spicy. The flavors are nice, but not as strong as I had imagine. For example the inferno blend is not very hot, less heat than my home made cracked pepper. Overall I would say it is worth buying for the experience if you are new to making jerky, and it would make a nice gift to anyone.

This is the 2nd set of Jerky Seasoning we've gotten from this brand and this flavor set did not disappoint! only thing is the inferno is actually v spicy (we have a pretty high spice tolerance) so maybe go easy on that!

I bought this a couple weeks ago. I wanted to make Tri Tip jerky. I trimmed and sliced two Tri Tips. I ended up using the whole packet of Sweet and Spicy and then had to add in part of the Pepper packet and more cure to make more marinade. When the jerky was finished, it had a good flavor but very mild. The bag I marinated it in did not have any liquid left in it so I didn't make too much, in case someone was wondering. I measured it out like the directions said to. I tasted the Pepper more than anything. It tasted Ok, but I don't think enough was given in the packet to make a sufficient amount of beef jerky, unless it was just a sampler package.

So far all the jerky seasoning I have bought from Hi Mountain have been great. I have done a few batches of my own made up seasoning and it was OK, nothing to write home about. This take All the guess work out of it. I was making the peppered jerky and the dryer repair guy shows up so I offer him some and he was gushing about the flavor. I gave him some for the road and he was a happy camper. I make jerky for my boys for Christmas gifts and I bring it for snacks at get togethers. It is a big hit and I am over making up my own flavor. This is good stuff. Everyone who has some with the Hi Mountain rub loves it. It’s my go too now.
