Sloths and monkeys love it!
I used this as a decoration in the rainforest room I created for my grandchildren...It's hanging from the ceiling in a way that the kids can't really climb it (not safe) but the sloths and boa constrictors love hanging on it amid the vines and tulle fabric I've used...It would probably work outdoors because it's well made and comes with sturdy hardware but they're too young to be climbing outside so I may repurpose when they're older. But do consider it...good product.

Great climbing toy!
We installed this as the access ladder to the loft bed we built for our 5-year-old, which is an off-label use but works great. It immediately became the new favorite toy. Our kids (5 and 3) love climbing on it and hanging from it, frontwards, backwards, upside down and sideways. Great for little monkeys of all ages. Only complaint so far: the end of one rope has come untied several times from the bottom rung. Not a big deal, but it would be nice if they were burned/sealed on the end to keep them from untying.

Perfect for trap door
This is perfect for a treehouse trap door. It is a little difficult for my 4 year old to climb since it is wobbly and we don’t have it attached to the ground, but my 7 year old goes up easily. I’m not sure if it’s durably. It seems a little flimsy, but gets the job done for now. My kids also enjoy swinging on it although it isn’t designed for that.

sturdy, easy to use, kids like it and it is holding up well. good value. perfect length for our application, installed at a slight angle to make climbing easier. metal fitting that are included made installation a snap.

It solid but. But isn’t easy to climb which makes it hard for the kids to use.

Too challenging for my 3 year old with great gross motor skills.
I got this for my 3 year old. This is challenging for him; he can’t climb past 2 rungs. Having anchors for the bottom of the ladder would be a good solution.
