Fabulous! Beautiful ! Hong Kong in Memory.

I grow up in Hong Kong and seen those places in person. It’s a good book for me to have since HK change so quickly. However, I think it will be better to include the year that the pictures were taken.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this book but was so pleasantly surprised to find (tons) full color page photos of the place I used to call Home Kong. It's an amazing book with photos (a lot) are on social media (some of my favorite photographers are contributors) as well as never seen before images of this amazing and beautiful city. A solid, hard cover book, with a thin, craft paper HK cover slip over the front of it, makes for a wonderful gift as well as reminder of a colorful and photogenic city for anyone who has been there or lived there! Highly recommend.

Great book and beautifully collected photos of this amazing city. I also like the different categories in which the photos are displayed. Amazing book!

Bought it for a gift and my friend (from HK) loved it. Beautiful pictures. Maybe a bit too much “building” focused? Could have been nice to see a bit more nature, forests, parks streets, beaches, people…

The photographs showcased are predominantly wide shots of buildings, which felt like they belonged in architectural magazines. And therefore felt very impersonal and a little clinical. The streetscapes included lacked focus and story as though they were snapped hastily by someone who needed to do a job and haven't lived in the city. The book is sturdy as a coffee table book, but the odd choice of matte uncoated paper stock really sucked the colour out of the pictures.I was really keen to own a hardcopy book full of photography documenting life in Hong Kong, a city which I may never be able to visit again. But there are much more interesting shots of the city out there on Instagram by photography enthusiast, which really capture its life and vibrancy.

Ho regalato questo libro a mio marito per Natale. Se siete amanti della fotografia, lo amerete sicuramente!Lo abbiamo esposto in libreria in modo che si vedesse bene, in verticale con qualche pagina aperta. Tutti si soffermano ad osservarlo e subito dopo a sfogliarlo restando letteralmente incantati.Scorci della città, colori sgargianti, pezzi di vita!
