I got this for my child with eczema. She had what seemed to be a case of heat rash as well as a diaper area rash that just wouldn't go away with standard Aveeno and other baby marketed soaps. I can say that this duo absolutely turned her skin around within about a week. In a week the rash was calmed and she no longer itches or scratched which was a huge relief as every parent knows it's the discomfort that is the biggest hurdle for kids. Once her skin calmed down maybe about another week I noticed that the inflamed areas where there were scars & patches were now smooth and flat, and lightening in color. At this point I'm hooked and set up the Amazon subscription. Today the spots are completely gone, patches disappeared almost as if there was never a rash. I admit that these are pricey in comparison to other drugstore brands that are well known, but with these results I know I'll keep this as a staple in my child's bath routine. I plan to use it 1 - 2 times a week as maintenance for her skin, and supplement with less expensive Aveeno options we used previously but whip this out if any other rashes or inflammation pop up. Since it's only these 2 brands if anything occurs again I'll know to just stay full force with Medela forever! Absolutely highly recommend! The gel wash is an oil gel that feels so nourishing in my hands and on the skin. You can feel the moisture coming back into your skin and i noticed immediately that dry patches on my child were beginning to become plump and moisturized looking after first wash. A little goes a long way with the wash so about 2 or 3 pumps can get the job done from head to toe. It's a nice lather so if you have a bubble fan they'll have some fun while you scrub! The lotion is in smaller packaging so I feel it's even more overpriced but again the results speak volumes on the quality for the pricing. The lotion is also super nourishing while not being heavy. It's not sticky or filmy on her skin and has a slight smell that i don't find unpleasant but I wouldn't call it unscented , it's definitely a smell to it but it's not an unnatural perfume or anything, but also not a gross medicinal smell if that makes sense. I use more of the lotion head to toe so it's running through faster than the soap so I had to buy an additional lotion outside of the set so as not to run out and miss days with it. The following morning (we do night baths) her skin is still moisturized and has a slight shine to it, like baby glass skin without the wet mirrored look, more like a dewy plump lit from within look which is amazing coming from flaky with little patches of dry skin. Sorry no before and afters! Note : this set is the gel wash & lotion, but i also purchased the cream wash separately and used that as a "double cleanse" for her skin followed by the lotion. Using all 3 steps got my result but using the 2 in this set alone may also create similar results.

My 2-year-old has extremely dry skin and ongoing eczema...and this product came to the rescue. After trying several options and finally accepting the reality that kids do eventually grow out of eczema, I came across this product while looking for something gentle enough to use daily without making flare-ups worse. We’ve been using this for over a year now as a regular body wash during bath time. One thing that stood out immediately is that it doesn’t lather like a typical soap. At first, that felt unusual, but it quickly made sense as there is no stripping or tight feeling on the skin after rinsing. My child’s skin feels calmer and less irritated after baths, and overall the dryness has been more manageable since switching to this. It’s been easier on the skin than some medicated washes we tried before, which sometimes helped short-term but caused irritation with frequent use. Because it’s an oil, you have to rinse the tub well after bath time or it can feel a bit slippery. That said, it spreads easily, so you don’t need much per bath, which helps the bottle last longer than expected. The biggest downside is the price. It’s definitely on the expensive side for a baby body wash, especially if you’re using it consistently. Still, given how sensitive my child’s skin is, it’s been worth it for us. This has been a solid, gentle option for managing very dry skin. I’d suggest skipping it if you’re looking for a foaming cleanser or a budget option, but for dry, eczema-prone skin, it’s been reliable.

We have been using this cleansing oil for my son’s eczema for a little over a week now (along with the Stelatopia cream) and I’m so amazed by the results!!! Swipe all the way to see them. When I first came across it, I was worried that it would leave my son feeling oily but not at all! The only downside I have to this soap is that the smell is very strange. Smells exactly like surgical scrub, so that’s odd. The smell doesn’t linger on the skin for long afterwards, so it’s not an issue for me and we will continue buying! Cleans very well and the quality is top notch- well worth the money!! I gave it 4 stars due to the smell, but the product itself is great!

So I have now finished two bottles and it works so beautifully ! Our baby started to have eczema when she was just 2 months old and it was bad . We tried everything .baby Dove sensitive fragrance free , baby aveeno eczema , even the mustela body and hair soap … baby cerave body and hair seriously we tried everything !! But somehow this worked so well. It nourishes her skin and is so easy to rinse . It doesn’t leave an oily feeling to her skin ! And it does not irritate her skin like the other products we’ve tried. We’re hooked ! Yes this soap works well because it doesn’t make things worse but we also had to use hydrocortisone and (tubby Todd ointment) .

I’ve been a regular user of the Mustela products and can’t say enough about how great this product is. From the scent of the body wash, oils and lotions to the Stelatopia line that helps relieve mild rashes or dry skin that my DD has experienced, she has sensitive skin and found this to be the best and only product that works for her. I definitely recommend! Only wish it wasn’t so pricey!
