Wire was a little harder to bend then I thought it would be. Since the tabs on my tray for the Speedi were not working properly, use the wire to lock the tabs in place.

You get a nice roll of high temperature wire with a handy set of pliers that have a nice sharp wire cutting section. I use high temperature wire for my ceramic work and have purchased this three times with excellent results. I think it’s a good value compared to other places I’ve purchased similar wire.

The wire worked fine for securing ceramic insulation on a homemade gas kiln. However, the pliers were a little cheap and the spring fell out on the first use.

I needed some high-fire wire for a glass project going into the kiln at 1400 degrees. Couldn’t find what I needed at local hobby shops, didn’t trust the quality of the correct gauge wire at the big box hardware stores, so I took a chance on ordering this kit. It is great! The wire fires cleanly, holds securely on the finished project, and even came with a nice-sized wire cutter to use. Good purchase.

yes it holds up to cone ten

In my experience, works great. Fired to bisque no problem, then a second time to cone 6 once the pieces were glazed. Works for pendants and ornaments. Definitely will but again. As a note, the wire does darken in color when firing! Thats not a big deal to me, but if you want *shiny* silver once fired, this isn't it. Still works perfect for my purposes

Handy pliers came with it to cut and bend wire. The wire is strong and did the job perfectly. Would recommend
