It works perfectly to keep the sock from sliding down or bunching up inside the shoe. They truly stay hidden below the shoe line. •Perfect Material Thickness: They are incredibly soft right out of the box. The thickness is a great middle ground—they aren't bulky like heavy winter cotton socks, but they aren't paper-thin or see-through like cheap dollar store packs. They are thin enough to keep your feet cool, but thick enough to feel durable and protective. •Work-Day Durability: My husband is extremely rough on his socks because of his daily work. These have already survived being worn, washed, and dried twice, and they still look and feel like new. They arrive neatly packed in individual pairs inside the box. I thought the socks looked interesting, so I bought them. They looked really tiny when I took them out of the package. At first I thought they weren't going to fit. Until I tried them on. Not only do they fit, but they're also comfortable. The material is lighter than I expected, but it makes them perfect for the summer months. My feet do not sweat. They even have the rubber guards on the heel to keep them from falling off. I would have given this a five-star rating, but the rubber guards do not work. If I wear the socks and walk too much, the socks slide off my heels. So, I only wear them on days when I know I won't be moving around a lot.

If you're reading this, just buy them. I'm the type of guy who takes a week of researching to pull the trigger on trivial purchases like socks and toothbrushes. I've done that for you. Just buy these. They're great. I've had them for about 7 weeks now and they've fallen off the back of my heels ZERO times. Sneakers, boat shoes, Hey Dudes, whatever - they stay on. They're thin enough to breathe freely (no sweaty feet ever), but not so thin that they wear through the heels after you've worn them 5 times. The Tar Heel blue ones are my fave - wish they sold 12 pairs of just that color alone. Put 'em in your cart and head to the checkout, my guy!

These socks stay up and do not end up under your heel like some others do. Nice color choices in the mixed set. My wife and daughter love theirs as well.

I like these socks, however they are thin. I genuinely only wear these for summer. And within the second season of wearing them, they started to develop holes.

I bought these for a male friend and, according to him, they're the best socks he's ever owned. He wears them constantly and actually commented on how comfortable they are. They fit perfectly, they’re comfortable, and they’re so smooth and lightweight it almost feels like I’m not wearing socks at all. Which is exactly what I want from socks: to do their job while making as little effort as possible to remind me they exist. The colors are nice, the fit is right, and the price was actually reasonable—which, in today’s economy, feels like a personal victory. 5 stars. My feet are happy, my wallet survived, and I can confidently say these socks are almost as good as not wearing socks… without the obvious social consequences.
