worth every penny to protect my bird feeders and bird houses
This is my second bottle of coyote urine, and so far it seems to be working well. It has helped keep raccoons away from a few bird feeders that I leave up overnight, which has been a huge relief. A word of caution: wear gloves when applying it! If it gets on your hands, the smell is extremely difficult to remove. Be careful around your shoes as well, and watch where you walk after spraying. The odor is definitely strong—but I guess that's what makes it effective. You'll need to reapply after a heavy rain, but that's to be expected with a product like this. As for the price, I think it's a bit expensive for urine, but it's worth it compared to the cost and frustration of raccoons destroying my bird feeders.Overall, I'm happy with the results and will continue using it.

Stinky
Stinky, just like you want. Working great and it has kept the deer out of my yard. I have gone through it quickly, and that’s A-Ok because it works!

DOES NOT WORK
It DOES NOT WORK. I used the entire bottle in a very small area outside my front door (bushes around my condo), in my flower bed. Rat was back that day and subsequently. I started with a small amount. Then used to half a bottle. Then the rest of the bottle all with in a day period. Same rat keeps coming back. Waste of money. I'd give this no stars, but that's not possible.

As Squirrel deterrent
This product had some benefit, but I'm not as happy with it as I'd hoped for. It doesn't smell. As strong as the promo says. It does have a slight deterrent factor in my small backyard garden, but the squirrels still come in and dig holes and eat plants. I used half a 32 oz bottle at once. Squirterd it directly on the thin layer over wood chips that cover the ground around the plants. Squirted all around the perimeter, too. Today is day 3 and I see about a 30% improvement, maybe less. The promo did say that it doesn't always work for squirrels but sometimes it does. I'm frustrated with the damage the ground squirrels are causing me. The shipping was very fast and the package was wrapped very tightly and professionally.

Great product
Great product, I have huge deer population around me. I use it with decoys and it made a huge difference with keeping deer away.

Not useful for coyotes
Smells very awful for obvious reasons. If you are sensitive to smells stay away from this. I got it to scare away coyotes from my outdoor cats. However I read online that this is not efficient to scare coyotes away. The cats also can get scared away from the smell of this pee.

Great Product, But…
This really does work. The deer, raccoons, rabbits, chipmunks, and groundhogs were terrors more than usual for some reason this year and demolished all my hostas, day lilies, tiger lilies, apple tree, rose of Sharon, veggies…you name it, they ate it. I wanted something to help that wasn’t toxic to my plants, ground water (since we’re on well water), or dogs, and something non-lethal. A cousin suggested coyote urine. After a search, I landed on this one and decided to give it a try. After squirting it everywhere, I discovered that it really does work! No issues at all with all our woodland critters here in Northeast Ohio. I didn’t think it was that bad as far as smell…compared to some deer deterrents, so I was pleasantly surprised by that. But make no mistake, it doesn’t smell like roses either. Then it rained. It does need to be reapplied after every rain. But I have almost 2 acres of vegetation to protect, so it’s just not cost effective for me since we get a lot of rain on top of that—meaning lots of re-applications of this product. I just resigned myself that I would have no flowers this year and just protected the veggie gardens. If you have a large property and a lot of rain, a different way of protecting will probably have to be taken unless you don’t mind going through a bunch of bottles of this. For small areas, this product is great! That’s why I gave it 5 stars. It does work. It just wasn’t for me due to the other factors.
