why does the pump come "extra" and not directly on the bottle?

Why not? We add it extra, as some customer do not use a pump. And also so its less likely to break during shipping :)

Can you use this on intimate areas ?

I wouldn't dare consider using this near a female intimate area...and this is because I washed my face with this soap and it burned the living daylights out of one eye, even though I thought my eyes were tightly closed.......I would think it would be highly irritating to any area that could be remotely sensitive...I would say NO to this question for a female...maybe for a male.
