Men Expert by L'Oreal Paris Pure & Matte Anti-Shine Moisturising Gel 50ml

I was looking for a moisturizer that had more of a matte look. The moisturizer comes out blue and wet but once placed on the skin dries quickly and leave a matte finish. Lasts most of the day. I'm very happy with this moisturizer and I like the scent.

It’s good moisturizer, doesn’t leave you a greasy finish, and you can feel how your skin absorbs the moisture, only concern me that it’s said anti shine and matte finish, but it doesn’t work out like that on me, I have an oily skin that shines a lot, probably it’s just my skin that it’s very complicated. But it’s a great product

I enjoy the moisturizer. It has a great smell and doesn't feel sticky on the skin. It doesn't completely give a matte look, but it has reduced the amount of oil on my face. The bottle is a little smaller that I would like, I wish they could have another 25-50ml. I would recommend if you are looking for something to reduce the oil, and are willing to buy the product often.

I used to use this years ago. I'd buy it by the 3 pack. When it got discontinued, I couldn't bring myself to use the last one (pictured). I came across the old one recently and came on here to see if they started carrying it again. To my surprise they do. Though packaged differently, they are exactly the same. For me, the mattifying effect is just right, and I've always loved the scent. People don't need to put on their sunglasses when they see me coming anymore.Edit 9/23/20: Just bought another one, but at the increased price of 12.99 a piece, I think it'll be my last. I feel taken advantage of. Those 3 packs I used to buy equaled to about 5 or 6 bucks a piece. This is just too expensive.

I dislike the fact that L'Oreal has discontinued their Men Expert Hydra Energetic After Shave Balm Comfort Max. It was great for moisturizing, sensitive skin and really loved the scent. I tried this as an alternative and was really disappointed. They need to bring it back because this and the others I've tried don't come close to the quality of Men Expert Hydra Energetic After Shave Balm Comfort Max!!

I’m a 32yr old woman whose been battling excess face oil for a few years now. This is the ONLY PRODUCT that I actually got results from!! Was that the secret all along?? Men’s stuff is just better quality for the money?? I mean, we’ve known for years their razors and shaving cream is way better... will be buying again and again!! One tube has lasted me literally 7 months!!! (A little goes along ways). Fresh scent, completely moisturizing, oil control ALL DAY. 😘😘😘

I have combination skin, meaning some areas can become a bit oily while other's such as my T zone can be quite dry. This moisturizes my T zone, while not making the rest appear greasy. From my experience this works really well, but everyone's skin obviously isn't the same. I'd say it's worth the try. Also the tube is small but a little goes a long way with this product.

I purchased this product to mattify my bald head. The moisture and smell is great but does not take shine away.

Having the moisturizer in gel form makes it absorb so much easier, where as most creams seem to leave an oil residue and sometimes a strange smell. There is absolutely no shine, and it smells really good. It's really the best moisturizer I have used so far and I would say the price is fair. I've been using it once a day after a pore scrub, and my usual red irritated and oily skin looks much smoother and calmer now. Finally found something that works for me, I will definitely keep buying it.

I firstly love the smell of the product. It is quite different from any other skincare product I have bought before. I also like the grey colour. All of this might seem minor, but it adds to the experience of using the product.It seems to help with my oily skin and it does give it an (almost) immediate matte look. I only use this in the morning as I sometimes have the feeling that it makes my skin a bit dry. If one uses a product at night which is for moisterizing it balances out with this product. I am not sure if I woukd recommend this to someone with a very dry skin.It is a bit expensive, which tempted me to give it only 4 stars, but I do not have any problems when using the actual product and therefore I am satisfied to pay a bit extra.

Usually combine this with their (L'Oréal) charcoal face wash and hence go for a freshen up whenever I get chance (usually never at the moment). Started using this cream after I found my face was oily yet dry which caused a rash after wearing masks for hours on end at the hospital. At first I wasn’t impressed but after a short trial I did notice the difference and managed to get on top of my ‘mask rash’ - non greasy and does last several hours (combine with a fresh surgical or FFP3 mask - don’t bother with dirty reusable ones unless you actually wash them between every use... and purchase a reusable mask with proven efficacy - most are a joke). Subtle scent and quickly absorbed.Would wait until Amazon reduce the price to around £3-£4 (which they regularly do) rather than pay over over the odds for no reason!

Love this product best for oil control
