Sirui 5C travel tripod is a bliss
This is a review for Sirui 5c travel tripod. I am extremely surprised at how compact and lightweight this tripod is. It fits neatly into my small Amazon Basics camera bag. This is the first tripod to actually fit inside it. The tripod is extremely light weight and uses a screw lock and not a latch lock. This is my first tripod with this locking system. Gets a little getting used to for me. The tripod has a rubber base and hence you don't end up touching the freezing end of the tripod when shooting in cold weather. Because the tripod is pretty light, remember use some weight to support the tripod in windy conditions. I experienced this while attempting to shoot the northern lights in Iceland. It was hard to get steady shots in extremely windy conditions without some weight pulling the laptop down to the floor. The mount adapter that has to be attached to the camera to get it on the tripod needs a screwdriver or a multitool to tighten it up. This means you better yourself one of those SmallRig tools to carry along with you. They do supply a Allen Key or a hex key whichever name you prefer with the package. The rucksack like case that comes with the tripod is not padded. I generally prefer photography equipment cases to be padded just for some extra protection but lacking this out of the box, I decided to try putting it inside the camera bag and to my surprise it actually fit! I would totally recommend this tripod to anyone who wants a travel companion tripod. Absolutely priceless piece of kit. The height adjustment being so flexible you can go pretty low and about upto 5ft 4in or so high. I guess for travel that is perfectly acceptable! It also supports cameras upto 10kg if I am not wrong. So what are you waiting for? Try it for yourself.

Ideal quality ultra compact travel tripod
Needed a good quality light and compact travel tripod. Saw a review of this and ordered one. It is small when collapsed yet easy to extend with bag hook for added stability. Ideal for hiking - when weight is a premium. I own a range of tripods including Gitzo etc which are built well- but too big and heavy to walk distance. Happy that this one fits my needs. Used it in Faroes- perfect!

Light but unstable
Very lightweight tripod, folds up very small and fits easily into the side pocket of a backpack. The best tripod is the one you actually bring with you, right? I used to leave mine at home because I didn't want to carry the extra weight. This one doesn't weigh my down, but it does compromise on sturdiness. Lots of camera shake when using a mirrorless and a long lens with even just a little bit of wind, however absolutely fine for my lightweight combo of Sony A7 + Tamron 17-28mm. I haven't tried weighing it down though, so don't know whether that would help at all for any heavier loads. I'd say it's a brilliant tripod for using with a mirrorless setup in nice weather.

Sturdy and easy to use
I bought this as a lightweight tripod for travelling. It is very easy to use, the legs are on twist locks and the ball head mount allows you to adjust the camera to any position you need. My only slight negative is that the main body does not extend, which means it is not as tall as other tripods I have and relies on having room for the legs. However it is nice and stable once up and also comes with a hook for adding extra weight if required. All in all while not the lightest or smallest tripod on the market this is much more travel friendly than some and does any excellent job for the money.

Perfect
Had my eye on this one for a few weeks but wasn't sure because of the cost. But can report that it's worth every penny. Absolute beast of a travel tripod. So easy and smooth to use and stable enough for my a7c ii. Haven't used outdoors yet but used for self taping and it's been a dream. Highly recommend!

Ideal travel tripod
Was looking for a lightweight tripod to take on my travels and came across this one during my research.... looked ideal for what i wanted...... After making my decision to buy it was lucky enough to spot it was being offered with a time limited 20% off voucher on Amazon so managed to get it for the same price as the aluminium version.... Delivery was very quick, arrived within 36 hours of ordering. Impressions..... lightweight, very compact and definitely strong enough for my Nikon with a telephoto lens....

its tiny
its size and weight is amazing, haven't been able to test it in the wild yet and I'm a little worried because it does seem bit flimsy but in the house it hasn't been that bad at all. All in all great travel tripod for size

Ottimo!
E comunque nello zaino, o in mano, è leggerissimo! Sono molto soddisfatto!

Me encanta!!!

Great Travel Tripod
I have several tripods ranging from heavy duty Manfrottos to compact no-name ones; but nothing I own was convenient for traveling and hiking. I decided to order a few tripods claiming to be lightweight and sturdy, but after going through about 10 of them, this is the only one I found that lived up to the claim (within a $100 budget). It is really light and based on how it folds up, it fits perfectly in the tripod holders on all of my camera and hiking bags. My typical load out is a Canon 1Dx with a 35-250mm L series lens. Total weight is around 8 lbs and I have not had any problems with the head. It has held the camera firmly in place, especially if I mount it at the lens. Now, the legs are thin when fully extended so you have to make sure you have tightened all the sections well and you are firmly planted. And because they are thin, they are likely more susceptible to shake or vibration so this may not be the best solution if you shoot in low light. It is much sturdier at mid height though. All-in-all, this is a great tripod and I recommend it.
