I had one of these for six years. After thousands and thousands of charges and travel and abuse it finally quit refused to charge any more. I researched for a while for a replacement and found that there were more powerful chargers available, and cheaper, but I've had other chargers as well and none of them lasted nearly as long. In particular I've never had good luck with ISDT. I was very happy to be able to buy a replacement, and for a price that had come down quite a bit since the first time I purchased it. At the end of the day I trust this charger the most which is quite important for a device that has the potential to start a huge fire.It's also a very impressive charger even today and will easily get eight 6S 5000 packs to full charge in less than an hour.I also highly recommend All E RC. Their service, prices, and products have consistently been some of the best I've experienced.

Not sure why Amazon catagorizes hobby items as "toys". Anyway, back to the review. This charger is AWESOME! It will charge just about anything you throw at it. Nimh, lead acid, gel, lipo, lifePo4. And the kicker is its two chargers in one. For example, I have a Traxxas E-revo running TWO 7.4v 5400mah lipos. This charger will charge both lipos at the same time and balance the pack cells (individually per pack). The lipo packs I have are only 1C, so they are limited to 5.4 amps when charging, which takes just over an hour. Packs with a higher "C" rating will charge faster (up to 20 amps per channel).This charger will also connect to a computer via a USB cable. This makes it easy to track your charging by pack. The interface is pretty slick as well, showing all the information you could ever need while charging. The software allows 20 "preset" battery configurations which makes for a true plug-n-charge setup.I am very pleased with this charger and cannot believe it took me this long to buy a GOOD charger. Very happy with the purchase from start to finish.One note, you will need a beefy power supply to power the charger. The charger will accept 12 to 24 volts DC at the input. The power supply will need to be capable of at least 40 amps to get the most out of this charger.

The menus are confusing, there are a LOT of options, but the charger works great once you figure it out. One thing to pay attention to, is the order you unplug batteries connections once charging is complete. I believe you have to unplug the main connector to the battery first, then unplug the balance connector.

I love this charger. I can charge six,6 cell batteries at the same time. I have used this charger for well over a year now. No problems at all. Just make sure that you have a large enough power supply. So the charge can run at full power. I don't know why they put this review under toy's. This is not a toy. There are lots of other charges on the market. But I believe that this is the best and most reliable one out there.

Works as advertised. It would get 5 stars if the display were more readible in bright sunlight and beep sounder was louder.

Great charger! Just don't forget to get a power supply for it! As high quality as Hyperion is I'm certain I won't be buying another charger within my lifetime. Has plenty of settings ranging in different batteries, 20 savable presets for quick connection and charge, and since it's the duo you have 20 per a side for a total of 40 savable presets!!!

I use this with my Maxamps batteries. When you pay alot of money for good lipos and want them to last, this is the charger. MaxAmps also has a great tutorial on this charger on their site. I also use it for my old NIMH's
