I purchased the gold padlock and paperclip chain set and in silver. I absolutely love the color of this gold. It reminds me of the light gold hardware they use on Chanel handbags and wallets. It’s not super dark, it’s very light, very pretty. It’s the same color as a solid gold necklace I own. I have been wearing the gold padlock every day since I got it in mid September. It’s now the end of October and it still has not tarnished or turned silver. I have not taken it off. I sleep with it, shower with it, and I sweat. I live in a tropical climate and it’s very humid all of the time. I once purchased a gold plated bracelet from a reputable jewelry store. It turned silver, almost instantly. I swore I would never buy gold plated ever again. Nothing really holds up in this weather unless it is solid, gold, solid sterling silver or stainless steel. I was going to order another set because I figured this would tarnish, but I’m going to hold off. I definitely recommend this to anyone that is active and doesn’t like taking their jewelry off. If it tarnishes, I will leave an update.

I'm pretty sure this is plastic! Extremely light weight and cheap feeling. Lock doesn't move on chain as its secured to two links. Short chain is not adjustable, its exactly 16"

Got this a few months ago, have worn it ever since. In the shower, pool, working out and still remains gold color. No tarnish. Looks nice, good quality for the price.

Love love love! It’s adorable, the weight is there, but I just loved how they really took care of the packaging ensure it didn’t get tangled and arrived safe. I wish a lot more sellers would do that.
