Pale, but suitable
I'm very happy with the consistency and packaging of the crushed Amethyst, but I was expecting a little more color. It really just looks grey from more than a foot away. But this is a natural product so variance is to be expected.

My project was a success with this product
The product was not a whole lot but what I got was precious. It did not look vibrant in the bag but when I opened It , It did the job and my project looked great

Consistent size pieces if that's important to you
Consistent sizes, particularly cleaning material compared to some others I bought. However if you buy semi-precious beads and hit them with a hammer. You'll save a lot of money. At this point I buy large stones put in between two steel plates and Mash'em

Light in color but otherwise good quality.

Good inlay medium.
I use this to mix with a clear medium for my paintings. A perfect texture for me.

Very pale color that doesn't darken when wet
For some pretty pricey crushed stone, I was disappointed by the pale color when I embedded the stone in some clear epoxy coating. Coincidentally I found an old package from the same vendor with somewhat darker color.Maybe this is a normal variation on the color of amethyst, but what I used was too light to create decent lavender effect.

Great color. Used to add texture to soapstone carvings.

Color not representative of item received
The picture is not at all representative of the color of the item that was shipped. The grain size is about right but the crushed amethyst I received was nearly clear/white with a very light purple tint if you look at it in the right light. Kind of defeats the purpose of using crushed amethyst. I understand that this is a natural product and there will be variation but they should really have some quality control and grade this stuff, especially if they are going to use the current picture that is not representative of what the product they are shipping looks like. Honestly, I would avoid this as the stuff they are shipping out right now isn't really worth including in your pieces. It's a shame because this company had several other things I was interested in but they clearly have no QC so whether I get something useful is not worth the gamble.
