Great pressure cooker
I've used pressure cookers for YEARS but this is one of the greatest improvements ever. Even my husband loves to use this. It is so easy to use. I strongly recommend getting the 8 quart model. We are cooking for two now but it's always better to be able to save the leftovers for another day. Great product!

Worst operation manual I have ever seen
I was was very excited to receive this cooker as quickly as I did, but after unpacking the pot and looking at the instruction manual I was forced to go online to figure out how to operate it. The manual has very few diagrams, and those they have are just drawings of the control panel. There are virtually no instructions on how to work it. So now I go hunting the internet on how to use it. Good luck, if it is not and instapot brand there are not any instructions for this brand. Not even on their website, if you can find it. So I used information from several sites to perform the water test that they all recommended. Ok, water in pot...check...Lid locked...check...press pressure cook...check...set timer for mins... check...make sure presser release valve is in closed position ...Check...wait for float valve to pop up....wait a minute where is the pressure valve on this thing (and why is steam coming out of the handle? Oh that's where it is. but I can't see it because it is on top of this , which is on top of the counter, and although I am above average height, I can't see it without standing on a step stool and sticking my face into the steam to see if it has popped because it is in a deep hole in the handle ( Why?). I finally see that it comes up when the steam stops issuing from the hole in the handle but it is now spewing out of the pressure release valve like Mt. St.Helens. I am guessing it is now building pressure, 45 minutes later it is still spewing steam and water and it has not reached pressure, my kitchen is steamed up and condensation is running down my windows and appliances, at this point i shut it off and released the pressure so i can open the lid, I started with 4cups of water and now there was only 1 cup left, so it was not building pressure. I checked the seals, etc. and tried again, ( three times) same thing each time. So it's going back and I am buying an instapot this time. It looked like good quality and had a nice array of accessories, but it didn't work and the instructions were worthless.
