Yellow Gadsden Dont Tread on Me Cap

I would have given it one star but I decided to be generous because it does have a nice looking Gadsden symbol. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to find that it was made in China. After all, it was only 5 bucks. I just wouldn't have guessed that a hat with this symbol would be made anywhere but the USA. The hat itself has that "Made in China" feel, and quality. The stitching is loose and I am sure it won't last. The "Made in China" tag wouldn't stay tucked inside due to a strange fold in the rim of the hat so I had to cut it off. Worst of all, I feel like a sell out and a hypocrite wearing a "Don't Tread on Me" hat that is made in China. Is it just me, isn't the relationship with China and the jobs we have lost to them, and the debt we owe to them some something that a patriot that would wear this hat takes issue with? I will keep the hat as a camping hat or wear it when changing oil in the car, but I am now on a quest to find a decent Gadsden hat that is made with pride in the USA and I will pay whatever price I need to pay for it. We have to start supporting US workers if we want our jobs to come back. Think about this the next time you walk into Walmart. Yes, you will save money buying cheap, crummy products while supporting human rights abuses and a Communist Regime, but at what cost?

Very hard to find yellow background with original quote and snake design on the hat. Most hats I found were black or grey with the quote on it. This one reminds me of the flag the most.

Packaging was HORRIBLE. It came smooshed inside of a plastic bag. It lost its shape! Put it in a box! As far as made in China what isn’t these days. All these cell phones were not made in the USA either.
