This is the only type of these silicone popcorn makers I have tried and most of them claim to be the original. I just chose this one because of the size, price, and shipping time. I used it with only popcorn and no butter, salt, or oil. The popcorn popped in less than 3 minutes with only a half dozen or so u popped kernels. I debated on whether to get one of these or an air popper. This works fast and the simple cleaning and compact storage makes this a great choice. Being able to control what you add to the popcorn to flavor it is the main reason I wanted this. The bowl and lid do get kind of hot but not that bad. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone that likes popcorn. Edit: I've been using this almost every day and just love it. It's surprising how much popcorn a quarter cup of kernels makes. It doesn't fill the bowl but it's more than enough for 2 people and the silicone lid keeps the leftovers clean for later snacking.

I've used this type before, and these are as good as any I've used. I bought a pretty pink one for myself, and then my oldest son (who is diabetic and needs many simple, healthy snack options) started using it so much that when I needed it it was always in use or still in his room. I went back to these and bought another, in black, that is JUST for him to use! Lol. Working well for us both! I love the color options for these. And the price is appreciated! I think these were the least expensive, of this type, that is sold on Amazon. But they are in no way inferior to the others! Same material, same size, same quality. On 1st use, I added kernals to the top fill line. It popped so much that I had to take it out early to keep it from overflowing in the microwave! I'd never has that happen in years of using others, with the same popcorn. It will pop a bit higher than the side of the bowl usually when filled to the top line, but this was going several inches higher than that! Lol. So now I'm using less popcorn. 😀 For those who may be wondering about adding oil/butter inside the popper: I've never tried butter, but for years, while using this same type of popper, I added the kernels, then would add 1 tbsp, or so, of Orville butter flavored oil, then even sprinkled popcorn salt over that, then put in microwave. The oil and salt would dispense over the kernels as they popped, with a delicious result! Never once did it cause a problem for my popper, or the microwave. And I don't think it changed the popping time, either. It does require washing the popper after using, since there is oil left inside of it. I've read people saying all sorts of things about adding stuff to it, so I wanted to say my own experience. And, I am a daily popcorn eater, btw. This popper is relatively easy to clean (I do it by hand), and simple to fold down when you want to save space during storage. It's also very light weight, so can easily be stored on top of other items without concern. Buying this item is a great choice for anyone!

This is a fairly large popper when it is extended. I made the small portion of popcorn and the popper worked very well. I used the preset on the microwave for popcorn. It popped all kernels except for a few. The noise level was not too loud. Nothing burned. I like this popper because it collapses to store well. So I can leave it on the counter. first time I popped some kernels in the bowl (after washing), it was movie magic! Sure, a few kernels were burnt here n there, but the amazing silicone material popped them evenly, fast and smooth. Easy instructions and simple functionality , no oil or butter needed. Just dump, dial, and DING! You got theater quality popcorn at home! You don’t need to go to AMC to get quality popcorn when you got Korocci’s silicon popcorn bowl.

I love this microwave air popper. It’s super simple to use and clean. I’m not sure why the Amazon description says to use oil because the instructions clearly say not to. That may explain why some people are having burning issues with theirs. You can’t just set your microwave and forget it. I have a low wattage microwave. I make one serving of popcorn which is 3 tablespoons of kernels and it’s ready in 3 1/2 minutes. I like to spritz mine with a little olive oil spray, sprinkle on some salt, then I toss it with a spoon. The popcorn comes out beautifully every time. The bowl is super simple to wash out, providing you hold the bowl by the base. Just put your palm on the underside of the base of the bowl, and you’ll have a firm grip. That’s the most rigid area of the silicone. Holding it there allows you to quickly wash it out. I don’t even bother putting it in the dishwasher because it’s so simple to clean. The same for the lid. I use a linen towel to dry it off and it’s perfect and ready to go within seconds. I’m not sure why there are so many reviews about struggling to clean it. This is a non-issue. I’ve had numerous air poppers in the past. They were loud, took up too much room, and threw hot kernels across the room. This makes popping healthy popcorn super easy. I love that it folds down for easy storage. My only complaint is the packaging. It comes in a weird square bag with the packing label slapped on top of it. The bowl was square shaped when I took it out of the bag. But washing it with hot water and one use in the microwave brought it back to its natural round shape. Now I don’t have to purchase those bags of “healthy” popcorn… that always contain too much fat and salt. I highly recommend this popper.

3 minutes and almost every kernel pops. Works really well even with cheapest popcorn Wal-Mart sells. Makes better popcorn than those microwavable bags.

Taste better than the cheap microwave grocery store popcorn in the bags! Clean up is easy! Pop it into the dishwasher on the top rack!

Works Awesome, a bit difficult to take out of the Microwave because of the handle on the lid catching against the top of the Microwave. But still give it 5 stars and use it multiple times a week. Makes Popcorn taste way better than the Microwave bag stuff.

This product surprised me at how simple and good it works. I use a Inverter Microwave Oven and it only takes 3 minutes to pop, any longer and you risk the popcorn burning. Just be careful when taking it out of the microwave as it is very hot to touch.

Used it for the first time tonight. A half cup of popping kernels made an overflowing amount of popcorn, so I’d recommend 1/3 cup for 2 or 3 minutes. The bowl gets very hot so use gloves to take out of the microwave.

I don't know why I was doing things the hard way thinking that it was the best way (stovetop). This thing is awesome and fast and virtually mess free. Holds quite a bit (for me and my partner) and if not enough for ...makes it super fast to make more. Would buy again, will buy again. Would recommend to anyone. No oil needed. Easy to clean. Stores easy. LOVE.
