Easy Key Turner, Color May Very (Pack of 2)

Bought these for our mother with bad arthritis in her hands. After a while, the plastic clips holding the two halves together broke, making it useless.

I first bought these about 15-20 years ago at a local shop (maybe the hardware store, maybe Walgreens or something like that) since I had new, expensive, heavy duty locks put in and found the head of the keys always dug into my fingers when I unlocked the door. I ran out of them so bought these which work just fine. I do always put a dab of Crazy Glue or hot glue on the stump on the inside that goes through the key's hole/slot (where you'd thread a chain or loop) before pressing both sides together over the key so the key doesn't slip around inside the cover. I always have to kind of work the key a little inside the cover to get it to sit correctly. These covers give the key a little more torque and cushions the metal edges. When I run out if I'm still in need, I'll buy more (hope they still sell them).

This was purchased for my 91 year old mother to assist her with opening her door on her house, and it's made a huge impact on her ability to be self supporting. It clips onto most standard keys and has a piece that goes into the keyring hole to secure it, and the wings are angled towards the normal direction a key needs to be turned, making it easier for senior citizens or anyone that had arthritis to unlock items.

Product is sturdy and durable. Comes in nice colors for a colorful look on your keys.

With these, keys work with great ease for people with arthritis or no hand strength.

My husband lost his left arm and wears a brace on his right hand due to the war in the Middle East. He uses these for his house keys since he cannot grasp a small key. He twists the key in-between his index and middle finger to unlock the door. The only problem isthey loosen or crack open so put a drop of strong glue to hold the key and 2 sides together, and just don't change your locks too often.

If you suffer from arthritis this makes opening the door lock much easier.

These plastic covers are warped so that they are not flat when closed. As other reviewers have mentioned, the keys often shift inside the cover. This isn't so bad as the warping of the plastic. It's a great idea but I would not recommend this product.
