works great holds tire
works good.. holds the tire .... doesnt lock though so i dont know why it asked to rate how it locks... but i knew it didnt lock when ordering so im happy with it

Good Product
Worked as designed. You might need to trim it some because the threaded portion is a little long. Like everything else, its designed for a boat trailer with square tubing. Mine is round and it doesn't fit completely secure but over all a good product.

Great Spare Wheel Carrier for my Boat Trailer!
Does not come with 2 washers, only two mounting nuts. I suggest you don't use it without putting a washer between each "nut" and the spare tire wheel. However, I loved the price, value for dollar and how EZ it was to install.

Nuts aren't ideal, should be acorn-style
As there's no flat bracket or other method to secure the mount to your trailer frame without the wheel in place, the security of your spare rim will rely on the tire holding pressure and the nuts not loosening. All other similar spare tire brackets I've bought have included acorn style nuts to lock into the rim bolt holes. This model just uses flat nuts, so there's really no way to prevent the nut from vibrating loose. Simple fix would be to use acorn style nuts instead.
