Just orded this, old one has a solenoid, this does not... does it matter?

Will this fit a 1992 Rm 125?

This will fit if the outlet side inner diameter of your original carburetor is also 38mm. Please tell us if you have a different size, and we'll recommend you the right one.

Will this fit 88 cr 500

This is a good inexpensive carb but not for a CR500. If you have that kind of bike you'll need to be able to fine tune it, this carb is not going to get you to max performance of the big 500, it will run but not much to be desired. Spend the real money on that beast of a bike, you'll be much happier.
