Athletico Compact City Tennis Backpack

A very small and slim backpack suitable for carrying a racquet and some small items from your car to the tennis courts, but not much more than that. Can't comfortably fit 2 racquets, a pair of shoes, a change of clothes and a towel at the same time in my case.The front "phone" pocket developed a hole on a side with only iphone 6 in it. Either it was not stitched on one of the sides to begin with or the thread pulled out because the _inside_ pocket fabric is very soft and stretchy.The stitching on zippers looks solid though and the fabric of the backpack itself seems to be durable.GOOD: - front access to the racket compartment is quite convenient especially when the backpack is hanging on the fence - fence hook which can be hidden in a small pocket in the back is a very nice touch - very slim, if that's what you are looking for - looks nice in grey colorNOT SO GOOD: - Capacity! The main compartment can only fit a pair of shoes (size 10.5) and maybe a towel. - The racquet compartment holds 2 racquets comfortably only when the main compartment is not bulging. Otherwise you'll have to squeeze the second racquet in.The small front pocket developed a hole under the an iphone weight after the first use.

I got tired of lugging my large 6 racket bag and really wanted to travel lighter. This bag was perfect for that! The seperate "racket only" zip up pocket is a great design. Alot of other backpack tennis bags have the rackets basically use cutouts in the same compartment as the other stuff which is no bueno for me.I carry a bunch of overgrips, arm bands, tape, granola bars, a string tension gauge, compression bands etc in the small front pocket. In the main larger area I have a large Nalgene, 2 cans of tennis balls, towel, hat, extra dry fit shirt and that leaves a tad more space to stuff the warm up top I may be using that day.There are two side pockets that are too small for a water bottle unless it is very thin like a Red Bull can or maybe a soda can girth. I use one for sunglasses and the other for knee braces and headbands. A built in hook that has its own pocket to hang on a fence is built in. I haven't used this but it looks nifty.The racket holder zips up and can hold 2 mid size sticks. I use Wilson Pro Staff thin beams and it is tight. You can only get one oversize Babolat racket in that zipped part.One thing to note. The build and materials on this bag are top notch. Seams are covered. Zippers above average. Overall this tennis backpack is made well.This works great for me and really forces me to bring just what I need and is super easy to shlog around!

Nice tennis backpack. I love the pockets on the front. The one at the top is for your cell phone and other small items . the lower pocket is big and holds lot of items. I wear my court shoes so I don't carry them in the backpack. There is more room in the large zipper area. I wish it held my 2 racquets ( I have 2 Head 107 ) in the front pocket but if you turn one of the racquets upside down then it works ok . The side net pockets are tight but if you put a water bottle in one and a can of tennis balls in the other it will help stretch the netted pocket. There is a nice hook on the back to hang the backpack on a chain link fence. Not a big roomy bag but enough room for my racquets, balls, water, cool wrap and a few small items.

It does not match the description. Holds only 1 racquet, does not hold an adult sized water bottle in the side pocket.

I am very disappointed in this tennis bag. I cannot get my tennis racket in the designated place to carry it. It is just a regular Wilson tennis racket but it doesn't fit, let alone two rackets, as advertised. I can still use the bag if I put my racket in the other compartment and put my gear in where the racket should be. But that is not how it is supposed to be used. The rest of the bag is fine just that one (big) problem.

Others have complained about the capacity of the bottle holders, but (as shown) it holds my 2 bottles. It was tight the first time I loaded them, but now I can even slide my 32oz Camelbac bottle in, and they are held securely. I only use 1 racket (large head Wilson ), so I'm not bothered by the racket sleeve capacity. BUT they should change the description: it doesn't hold 2 rackets.

I don't generally write a review if I'm not happy with a product but as a heads up to others this bag is way too small if you seriously want to carry two tennis rackets. I could barely fit one in the compartment that they say holds two. I saw other reviews that said the same but I thought I would gamble - It was a bad gamble.I'm not home right now, but when I get home I'll try and remember to post some pictures.I could probably put the other racket in the main section but then it gets difficult to fit towels and cans of balls, and water bottles, and all the other accessories that I've got my tennis bag (sunscreen, head and wrist bands, etc.).It's a great idea, and I wish my rackets fit better. I honestly wish they made one that was about 150% as big.

I can fit a tennis racquet and 2 badminton racquets (in case the courts are full), so I didn't have the problem others expressed about the racquet compartment not being roomy enough. But, I like that the whole backpack is neat and trim and not too large. It's perfect! Since I tend to just bring a small Gatorade, it fits just fine in the side bottle netting. And, the backpack has a large outer pocket that I put all my personal belongings in, leaving the main compartment for a dozen tennis balls, a jacket, a towel, a scarf, and whatever else I want to bring. I love it!

Excellent exactly what I wanted. Great size, not big and bulky. Nice product.

A good quality product. It was suitable for my 8 yeard old daughter. She liked the color and the design and it can bring her two tennis rackets.
