Bought these for husband. He had one & we wanted backups. I gave 1/2 package to my brother when I noticed his shirt collar was tight. Would purchase again.

They work as expected. Be careful with them though, if you pull on them too hard you will stretch out the coil and ruin them.

I wear a shirt and tie for work every day, and I have a thick neck, which often makes buying off the rack a difficult experience. I can't afford to have my entire wardrobe tailored, so I went looking for a solution, because nobody likes that messy "top button open" look.This product is perfect for my needs. I only need an extra quarter to half inch on most of my shirts and this does the trick.The extender appears to be high quality - I've worn the same one a couple of days in a row now, with no signs of damage. If that changes, I'll update my review.They are also easy to use. The hardest part is getting the stretching piece over the shirt's button. To fix this, I usually just slip the extender on the button before I put the shirt on, making it easier to just have to fasten it before I put on my tie.I've attached a photo so you can see how it looks with a tie on. I recommend this product highly if you have the need.

I’ve used spacer like these before and kept losing the to the black hole of the washing machine. I like having a spacer so I can wear a tie and still have a loose, breathable collar. These spacers do the job nicely. I just use one on my top button and it gives me a little extra air gap and helps me stay cooler on hot days. I can’t yet speak to durability, but the function is great. I don’t even know the spacer is in place other than knowing my collar is a bit more comfortable.

I usually wear a men's size small in most clothing (36-38 in. chest). I have always had the problem though that the standard sized neck has always been a bit too tight -- more so as I get older. I find it is better for me to buy a size medium, athletic cut, or slim fit. That usually works very well. I do, though, still have one size small shirt (regular cut) that I keep because I love the color and cannot find and easy match in another size (color is "latte", who makes up this s***?). These collar extenders give me the perfect extension, and the spring hooks have just enough give to keep the collar tight but still comfortable. As I said, these were perfect for my use. The quality material is also great for the price point. Would recommend or buy again if needed.

These little puppies are almost impossible to find in a local store. If you collar shrinks, you gain weight, or you just have a tough day at the office, an unbuttoned top button is comfortable but looks sloppy. No, not casual, sloppy. If you don't want to button it, take off your tie.A tie needs the top button closed. End of discussion.So, if it's tight, try these extenders. Easy to put on, And easy to loose after you take them off. That is shy you need five, because you are going to loose four.

These collar extenders were exactly what I needed. I wear Express brand dress shirts and although the XL fits my arms and stomach, the neck is a bit too tight. I picked these up to try them out and they work quite well. My collars fit nicely and my ties look better with the collar lining up.The only problem I have is that they are all silver and they shine a bit, sometimes not matching the shirt or buttons I have. Also the extender is like a tiny spring. It's a coil of metal and sometimes if I move my neck, some of my untrimmed hair will get caught.Other than that, this is a wonderful product!

These are well build and are able to take shirts that your neck has grown slightly out of and extend it just enough! It also provides more of a flex neck feel since it can stretch. The only real con about them is that you must keep your tie tucked up against it and tight, if not you will be able to see the metal "button" - in that regard a classic button appearance would be preferred. But overall they get the job done and I am pleased!

How did I not know about these before now? As a guy with a larger neck (18”+) this has saved me from my own mistakes when buying slightly undersized dress shirts as well as on those days where the neck just seems slightly larger! Amazing product.

I'm 200lbs but only 5'6" so I need smaller shirts but bigger necks. This lets me extend a bit without going custom made. And nobody see's the extension under your tie.
