Would this help back support ?

It helps me. I hike alot with a backpack and I always had back pain. I started wearing this and I don't have back pain during or after my hikes

I can't figure out the sizing... I am a 32 in waist and a 41 hip... There are conflicting answers on the sizing. Help anyone?

Honestly I would use the 41 measurements. Go for the next bigger size. Since everything is Velcro its easier to go smaller than it would be to make them looser, if that makes sense. I ordered a medium, normally a small/medium shirt as well, I should have gotten one size up for the waist trainer.

Heading back to work after abnominal surgery. Would this work for compression? Can you see it under clothing?

You can definitely see it under clothing. No matter how snug you make it, it is still bulky.

Im a 35in waist and 45 hips..im thinking a large

I think a large is good for you. I had ordered a large but was little too big and exchanged for a medium. It fit much better. I was a 33' waist and 42.5' hips. After a week of using while doing 30 min cardio in the AM, I lost 2.5 in hips and .5 inch in waist. Currently a 32'waist and 39 hips. just two weeks with the trainer. My trainer recommended it and alot of bodybuilding competitors are utilizing this product. Good luck..you will love it!
