Rubie's DC Comics Deluxe Muscle Chest The Flash Child's Costume

Ordered the small for my son who wears a 4T-5T (he needs 5T in length but has a slim waist) and the sizes on the costume i received state it is for sizes 4-6. It is made well and hell be able to wear it for Halloween but its snug around the shoulders and neck possibly due to the muscle part of the suit. I would recommend the next size up if your child is a 5/6 in size. The mask fits well but he complained about the Velcro part poking him under the chin so ill have to wrap some felt around it when he wears it. Its the same quality as the costumes you can purchase at Halloween shops and Walmart. Its not meant nor is it built to last forever. It is however made well enough to be used for Halloween or a costume party and then thrown into a dress up bin for play. This is the first costume I've bought where the boot parts are actually nice and work well normally they are horrible dont come with an elastic strap are misshapen and too short to cover the shoe. These however are sewn and shaped well have the strap that goes under the shoe and cover the shoe nicely. I also normally have issue with the masks on costumes but not with this one the fit was very nice. Over all I am very pleased with this costume and it is exactly what my son wanted for halloween.

We ordered this for my son for Halloween. It arrived very quickly and and he is thrilled. He is absolutely convinced that he moves faster when he has it on!. The costume itself seems well made and fits him very well. It is a size small 4/6. He is five getting ready to be six and is a tad small for his age. If you have a big for his age five year old or six year old, The muscles fill out well. I would recommend getting the medium. As I said, it fits him well, but there's not a lot of growing room. My only complaint is the belt. It has a lot of frayed thread coming off of it and there are no belt loops so it doesn't stay in place very well even when tied tightly, but those are just minor things compared to the joy on his face when wearing it.

This costume fit as expected. My 9-year old son was IN LOVE with it! I was a little worried about the fit, because my son is a little huskier for his age, but it fit perfect. When he first tried it on he took off running outside. He FELT like the Flash! In the end, that is really all that matters, but it lost one star due to a couple of problems that were easily fixed! First problem was the lightning bolts on the head piece. They are foam filled and very "flappy". I fixed this with a couple of safety pins hidden to make them stay standing up! Otherwise they look like floppy ears! Second problem was the elastic feet straps. This is a problem with ALL of these type of costumes. The elastic on the feet that comes with the costume is crap and doesn't properly hold the foot material down. I fixed it by buying cheap elastic (which is still better than the costume elastic! ) and hand sewed a second set of elastic on both feet. It held it in place very well! Last problem was the back. There isn't much holding it together and the one connector at the top felt too tight around my son's neck. Again, I hand sewed a button and a little elastic loop to where I wanted it to connect, so it didn't choke him. I am not a sewer by any means! I think anyone can really figure it out. Safety pins might have worked too. Overall, little fixes here and there aside, this costume was a hit! I included two fun pictures. One before we went out Trick or Treating and the other when he had to take a "foot" break from all the walking (we thought that picture actually looked kind of cool and dramatic! ).

My four year-old was super stoked to get this and is very excited for Halloween, so that’s five stars if he was rating this. But the costume is very tight in odd areas - it won’t clasp behind his neck without choking him, and he’s a skinny little guy, too. The lightning bolts on the mask flop around as if they were puppy dogs ears, so he looks a little silly and now I’m going to sew them down. And the muscular chest part is actually some type of cardboard, so I definitely don’t want to push this in the washing machine. I imagine it’s not going to last very long, even if we do take care of it. I didn’t break the bank for this one, but I had hoped it would be friendlier out-of-the-box.

He’s a month away from turning 4 y/o in this pic. Fits well. Good value and is loose enough to wear clothes under if October/Halloween is cold where you live. He wore it a few times (multiple trunk or treats, trick or treating, etc.).

Would be a good costume but has a MAJOR design flaw. The neck is not designed like the costume in the photo and if you try to close the one piece of velcro on the back to close the costume the child will literally choke. The muscles on the costume are made of stiff foam that doesn’t curve to the neck and instead presses on it. In the marketing picture you can see that the foam cuts off in the upper chest area so the material around the boy pictured is fabric. We will have to figure out a way to pin the back since no time to return it. Update: we tried to cut the neck down and it still was horribly uncomfortable. The muscle foam is just not flexible enough. Not only that the threading in the helmet and on one of the feet started to become undone within the first hour of wearing the costume. After that we took it off. Waste of money. For the price they could have done a lot better.

Un poco incomodo de usar, mi niño se quejo mucho de la parte del pecho, para pedir dulces funciono porque caminamos pero nada mas para sentarse teníamos que quitarle la parte de arriba. Cumple su cometido mi niño se sintio flash por unas horas.

Ich habe dieses Kostüm für den Kinderfasching meines Sohnes gekauft. Ich finde die Stoffqualität sehr gut, die Farben leuchten toll. Mein Sohn war der Held, und sehr stolz. Ich habe es in der Größe S bestellt und es reicht für Jungen mit einer Größe 110-128 cm. Mein Sohn ist 122 cm groß und 5 Jahre alt.

Excelente confección. Es más bonito al natural. Los músculos de los brazos son con relleno de alguna fibra. Los músculos del pecho son de algo parecido a "cartón plastificado". Para un niño tamaño pequeño que acaba de cumplir 4 años, es un poco grande, pero se puede arreglar recogiendo un poco por encima de la línea de las botas y así le durara más tiempo. Ya comentaré que tal soporta los lavados pues es para un regalo. El niño está encantado con él.

Uno dei pregi di Amazon è quello di essere più che puntuali nella consegna.. veramente complimeti. Il costume è ben fatto..mi è piaciuto tantissimo e mio figlio è stato entusiasta. Buone le cuciture e colori perfetti come da foto. Come molti consiglio di prendere una fascia d'età inferiore, le taglie sono grandi, per un bambino di 6 anni va bene un costume da 4/5 anni.

the son loves it.hes 7 and loves dressing up as super heroes.great fit and lokks like the picture does.the only downside is the sizing.i had picked 8-10but after reading other reviews about sizing I tried to change to the smaller size but it wouldn't let me.i then worried that it would be too big for him but when I got it ,it says on the wrapping that its"medium,usa size 8-10" but underneath it says "for age 5-7 years".very confusing sizing but a great fit and item.definately recommend.hope the company can put better sizing on the information on their page to help parents get the best size for their child
