im 6'2" 295lbs, and I can attest to its strength, and i found the locking system very easy to use. the 2 release levers unlock, and easily lets me move the next position where it locks into place. It took me few seconds to figure that out, because the directions were useless and non-descript. I've found it extremely versatile and light.

If you're over 200 lbs..Do Not Buy This.It collapsed and I blew a knee.I'm 280.It's not meant to hold 300 lbs.Not By A Long Shot.

I have used it in all configurations this far and it has worked great for me. The one thing that was most important to me is that I am pushing 300 lbs so I want to feel secure if I am 10 or 15 ft up on a ladder and this ladder has accomplished that.

The ladder was bought for a simple purpose, to hold me 214lbs while I cleaned an impossibly high window in my house. For that purpose the ladder works, but there are some concerns and a few basic issues I have with this. The first is the unfolding system, it is challenging to unfold the ladder unless you lay it down completely and set it into the position you want and for that you need a lot of room and the latches take a bit of effort to release. Once I had this set up I had my wife hold at the bottom for safety and I made the trek up the ladder to the window and despite having no fear of heights I do have to admit the way this ladder wobbled made each step more unnerving than the last. Reaching the top I was fine, there was no side to side play do to a wide base at the bottom, but the feeling that the latches would give way and I would come crashing down was a very real concern. I believe I will use this ladder more for the platform base for cleaning my gutters out than for an extension ladder and maybe look into another ladder all together for high climb requirements.Update:Despite limited use of my ladder it folded on me between the latches sending me to the ground in an interesting, yet thankfully non-harmful, trek sliding straight down while half way up.
