Gets the job done
I got this for gardening and it's easy to use. Perfect size and it is not heavy. I would recommend putting a file with it to sharpen. Once sharpen, be careful while using it so it doesn't cut you.

Sharpness and it passed that
The machette is good for what I needed. Could be narrower toward the tip.

Extremely cheap. Don't get it to cut anything, because it won't.
Do not purchase this, unless you're looking to get a very cheap paperweight or prop. The handle is something incredibly light and soft. It might be cheap pine or its Chinese equivalent. Because the handle is so light, the entire thing wants to pull right out of your hand, and the bolts look like they're going to split the wood in short order. It's also quite rough, and it looks like it was done on a belt sander in maybe 30 seconds. And of course it's unfinished, so it looks like cheap wood and it will accumulate dirt and dings quickly. Thankfully, none of that will be a problem, because it would be impossible to use this as an actual tool. The blade is made of cheap steel, stamped out by a press and then treated a 30-second pass on a grinder to put a slight bevel on it. There is nothing like an edge on it. The "edge" is just wishful thinking. At least this makes it a very safe blade, because you couldn't cut yourself on this if you had a week and a mule team. The cheap steel is also too soft to hold an edge, if you decide to put one on yourself. This is a hunk of cheap wood and steel in the vague shape of a blade. It is worth the money if you pay $5 or less.

Not bad.
It’s better than people give it credit for. It’s definitely a pure tool. Needs sharpening but I would expect that. Used an axe sharpening stone and it’s just fine for cutting brush. Handle needed a bit of sanding then treatment with linseed oil and pin tar. Handy for clearing brush. It’s a real tool unlike a lot of machetes on the market. Those look great but are completely useless for actually clearly brush.

Sharpness of the machete
The object was nice but wasnt sharp enough to cut the grass easily, lots of manual inputs or efforts required to do so. Actually the item wasn't that bad to my opinion. Thanks

Awesome
*I'm not a knife expert; I just like to collect & learn about blades mostly... I was REALLY surprised/impressed at the size! I expected it to be more along the lines of my Tramatino Bolo machete; but this thing is MUCH bigger lol. Excellent design, like a Bolo. I don't know about the steel quality but I believe Imacasa is a good brand. I'll probably end up getting another one, maybe send one to one of kids that likes to hunt.
