Great tool. Will buy the other arbortech tools
This tool is great. I have made bowls with it and it just eats the wood. It’s very easy to control as well. It has a slider on the shaft that you can adjust the depth.I will be ordering the other products for sculpting as this one is great quality

Part of a useful line of woodworking tools with common traits IMHO.
Like most of the Arbor angle grinder tools: Not for delicate work, not for timid, impatient, or not strong enough to wield the hefty grinder and thrust of the tools. The Arbor grinder with the powerful accessories is a "two hander" unless you are a risk taker and don't take the maker's advice. Also, requires a strong vice work table scheme. Practice, practice, practice! Instructions for use and changing or installing the tool add-ons, that I have seen, are very small and very, very minimal. Also, the spacer rings and gadgets for add-ons are misleading in that if tried to be used as in diagram, the planer for example, simply doesn't fit. May be it is an American marketing problem. Also, as with most tools, sawdust/shaving collection systems don't work very well. Best way to learn about this line is on-line videos of which there are many. Last on the negative side, is price. They are unique and that is reflected in the price from Australia (I believe).Up side, this carving attachment and most everything I have seen or bought can be VERY useful and they are very popular for good reasons. Watch the (usually supported) videos on-line!!!

Actually WORKS! Surprizingly Controllable.
So far so good. Punches holes in hardwood without issue. I use it to rough in large mortises for rustic furniture. It seems to hold its edge pretty well also.

I really love the turbo planer
I really love the turbo planer, but this product is one that I think I can live without. It does not get into tight spaces - you need a lot of swing room to angle those cutters correctly. It removes wood at a pace that I can almost match using my hand tools, since I've been classically trained in their use. It is well-built and pretty safe to use - it's not likely to catch and fly out of your hand, nor it it likely to do the speedy destruction that a spikey burr tool can. I used it on a well-balanced Fein grinder and it was pretty easy on the hands, vibration-wise.It's a nice tool, but a rather limited one for the type of carving I do, and it is not dirt cheap, so it was not the best use of my money.

safety and power
I used a chainsaw attachment on this extremely hard dried out stump and the best I got was the ability to create some shallow straight lines. Enter the Turbo shaft and I created some gouges and then bored a tunnel from one surface to the next in maybe 3 minutes. Not a complaint but the black coating at the base of the device is already worn down to silver metal below. So long as this is just a cosmetic issue then I don't care. If the blades dulled that quickly I think I would question the price. I am eager to try it out on a softer piece of wood to see how it does that way. My first Arbortech purchase but from my first experience I get the hype they know what they are doing.

Every Carver Should Have This!
This simple looking tool is a well-made monster at hogging out wood where my angle grinder discs can't reach with precision and ease! Easy to attach and control! Love, love, love this! Well worth the price & fast delivery. See the demonstration on YouTube! Awesome!

Where has this been all my life?
Does what it says. It's a beast, but one that's easy to tame. It makes you feel really confident carving out hard to reach areas, without feeling like you're in any sort of danger even if it did kick back.Extremely safe, extremely well built. No exceptions.

Materiale costoso
Il pezzo è arrivato puntuale veloce e pratico il montaggio, prezzo un po caro in base alle dimensioni. Lutensile secondo il mio parere sarebbe ancora meglio un po' più lungo, lo uso per fresare il legno
